    Starts shakeology thread.

    Then starts this.

    Lmfao!

    do you even life?

    Oh look. A white knight.

Drinking beer, eating crawfish and oysters, and laughing at you.

I find the Internet to be a great example for why I want my kids to stay in school . . . But then, I have little to worry about there.

Wow, you not happy person, shame shame.

Thanks for the extra example ;-)

How many calories do you burn with that bug up yours in a day?

    My white night

Wish I could stick around but I gotta shower and do stuff. I'm sure this thread will be closed in no time, if not deleted. My apologies to the moderators.... no such thing as a peaceful discussion on here.

I accept sexy pics via PM!

You two will make a cute Internet couple. Adorbs

I guess real life is like education, overrated, huh?

You gotta grow a pair of lady balls before you ask anything on here. Trust me, I learned the hard way.

You're not very observant are you? I started two others as well today... total of three, in case you can't add.

Yeah, that "egg in a muffin pan" post was quite controversial! "Update on sweets" post got lots of action also. You are right, it couldn't have been the Shakeology thread that caused the butthurtz.

    Sexy pics?

Can it be of someone else?

It's not the lady balls that I'm lacking, I just don't like to be a mean and negative person. If remaining in this community means that I will have to wear my lady balls, then so be it. I'm not leaving. I have me some weight to lose!! I have supportive friends on here and I love reading their updates

  • You may not be too sensitive but it doesn't hurt to have a thick skin on the forums.

I know it's too bad you have to get the bad with the good but sift through and take away the things that can be meaningful to you. They're forums and everybody gets their say. I like all the different perspectives.

Okay, first of all.. This forum is full of a lot of sarcasm, so is the internet.
It's not about thick skin, it's about blending in and following the joke to the next level :flowerforyou:
But if you can't, don't worry. It's not for everyone.

If someone bothers you on here, ignore it and go onto the next person. Simple.

No one on here has anything to do with you or any say WHATSOEVER in your personal life, that's your power for you to hold onto yourself.

Just smile and go with it :flowerforyou:

OP, this sounds like good advice to me. And I doubt that you are too sensitive. You may simply not like or relate to the amount of sarcasm in the forums. I used to use sarcasm a lot until one day, someone suggested that sarcasm is a form of anger. I still relate to and occasionally use sarcasm....it can be an art form  ....but I also think it can be hurtful to those folks who don't get it. And then "not getting it" can leave you feeling on the outside and most of us want the feeling of belonging, even if it is to a group of online forum posters!

So, in posting MHO here, I should pull on that thick skin because I'm most likely gonna get poked at. :smokin:

    sar·casm
    ˈsärˌkazəm/
    noun
    1.
the use of irony to mock or convey contempt.
"his voice, hardened by sarcasm, could not hide his resentment"
synonyms: derision, mockery, ridicule, scorn, sneering, scoffing

I don't think you are too sensitive. I think the professional come back artists have a need to put others beneath them and they in fact are insensitive. That's my opinion to the OP because she asked for it.
