IIFYM, Weight lifting with little cardio, -1 pound per week for the first 50 pounds. 4 bulk/cut cycles since getting down to 160 over 1.5 years ago. Currently a little over 170 and cutting again.
I love this comparison. You look leaner at 170 in the last pic than in the prior one at 170. Sign of a successful bulk0 -
you will have to creep my profile to see the pics... but i follow IIFYM and intermittent fasting..meaning i eat from 10 30 in the morning to 6 30 at night and nothing between except water.0

I guess I am IIFYM.
I eat a lot healthier now then I did before, but no single food is banned.
Tonight I ate noodles with lamb and stir fry veges. The noodles are probably just the kind of 'processed' food everyone says to avoid.
I also had enough calories left over to eat some ice cream. Nom nom nom.
I don't always hit my macro target on a day to day basis, but I do on a weekly basis. Only macro I really need to watch is protein, because if I am not careful I can get a little low on that.
And yes, I am losing weight, I have lost 8 kgs (16 pounds?) doing this.
At the end of the day I want to be happy and healthy, I want to enjoy eating.
Also, I think telling yourself you are allowed a food, but only in a small quantity or only occasionally means you are less likely to go on a "EAT ALL OF THE UNHEALTHY FOOD" binge.0 -

Also too many success stories to quote but you are doing awesome...0 -
I don't think I even do IIFYM, because I almost never hit my macros, I just eat what I want, just make sure to stay around my calorie goal for the day.
This is my picture, not as extreme of a transformation, but I'm happy with it.0 -
Well here is mine...I switched to IIFYM on Sept 9th
My diary is open so you can see I eat all the foodz.0 -
Bump to read later0

Im a firm believer in IIFYM and my results are in my profile pic0

Add me to the IIFYM list, too. A couple comparisons, although the "recent" pictures are a little old...
(Make sure you view this one outside the thread, there's a third pane to the picture):0 -
Ok I'm a believer! THANK YOU everyone! Now I just need to go ahead and give it a try. I have nothing to lose since I am not happy and not getting results with the way I'm doing things. And to the people who are saying it is for health reasons, I'm not talking about eating nothing but junk, I'm just saying I'd like to be more balanced and flexible. Wooo! While we're at it... Eating 6 small meals like every trainer and nutritionist has ever told me isn't necessary either is it? Hahah debunking to make my life easier!0

Around 3 months of eating pizza, fries, or burgers every single day (only way I could hit fats at college)0

Nope. Plan your meals around what makes you feel best and what you perform well with is the ultimate decider on when you want to eat.0 -
The thing about eating clean is that it's not just for your weight loss- processed foods contribute to heart disease, diabetes, cancer, bone disease, so much! You can be skinny and still be at risk for all of those things by eating a highly processed, unnatural diet.

May to December 2012. 225lb to 160lb.
Was doing a fair bit of manual work initially, while eating mostly ready meals.

The thing about having an ACTIVE LIFESTYLE is that it's not just for your weight loss- being less active contributes to heart disease, diabetes, cancer, bone disease, so much! You can be skinny and still be at risk for all of those things by being less active.
As far as 'unnatural diet' - could someone describe a 'natural diet' and please explain why it is a natural diet to me?0 -
