I guarantee you that $500 of sales will hardly register in a PacSun's monthly revenue.

This. I don't know why people are saying this is a big trasaction that will effect management. Maybe at a dollar tree would $500 be a big deal but not an expensive clothing store.

If her son is old enough to join the military he's already got his opinions and/or view of women established, it's a little late to be taking a stance on this and trying to shield him from a t shirt is ridiculous.

Seems like the older and the more out of shape a person is the more they complain about other people showing their bodies off.

Are you referring to me ? Lol

If those are your real legs than clearly not. :)

    My legs look better! ;p

Maybe not for PacSun as a whole but for that particular store it will be a hit. And if she returns in a different month it will matter in sales for that store. PacSun can easily take the hit, but on a store level it will sting. I've been in retail a long LONG time. A $500 return will make a difference. Someone said that PacSun can refuse the return. If they were smart they would refuse it and that woman will be stuck with $500 worth of tshirts she hates. Now THAT'S funny

This is the exact same reason I buy up all the porn I see on the shelves. Disgusting!

^^^ So you're the guy who beats me to the store all the time?

Well to be honest there is way too much free stuff on the internet for me to constitute buying it. haha

They have a $500 unusual sale they wouldn't normally have had. That's then offset by a $500 unusual return. Net impact to sales : $0. It's not like this is a regular customer, contributing to standard sales figures, deciding they don't like the quality of the goods and returning them. On the other hand, the manager is taking a $500 hit on their shrink, and may not make shrink target for the month/quarter, depending on target and usual figures.

They only real sales damage done here is potential loss of sales of those t-shirts during the period that they weren't on the shelf or in the window, but any manager that didn't immediately have the empty gaps filled is a lazy idiot that deserves to get hosed.

In short - even if they allow the return, it's not going to be a really big deal.

And since we're stating credentials: I was a retail manager in the past, along with plenty of time on the sales floor.

When I went to Key West people weren't even wearing bikini's. They just wore body paint. It was awesome!!

Fantasy Fest Baby! (My profile pic was from this past October. Last year was lame. This year I need to figure out an Anime costume)

A few years ago a DISNEY cruise stopped in Key West during Fantasy Fest. Poor planning on their part! :noway:

I was there the week after Fantasy Fest but it was still pretty cool! I definitely didn't run into anyone there who was uptight about nudity, or drunkenness!!

This lady would run screaming from my town. (Solana Beach). Bikinis everywhere!

Solana Beach is such a nice mellow little town, lived there briefly in the 90s
