    its a personal preference. For me, if I am not at a beach, lake or pool, then I would personally throw on some shorts and a top. If you feel comfortable enough to walk around in a bikini, by all means.

    Beach towns in any establishment ~2 miles or less from the water, rock it.

    Otherwise, probably cover it up. (As bad as that pains me to say...)

    I think a lot of it depends on where you live. I used to live on an island off the coast of southern Florida and everywhere you looked that was what most women wear and it was pretty much my summer wardrobe. I live on the central coast of California now and generally only see it in the summer in the beach towns. But I'd rock the look ;-)

    On the way to the beach once, I stopped for gas in my bikini top and shorts. A little girl (maybe 10) grabbed my boob. I think she was disabled, but it was still jarring. I laughed and said "omg she grabbed my boob" and her mom turns around and says "Maybe you shouldn't dress like a *kitten*."

    Please. I never care. Never could get into road rage, or any other kind of rage against people that make absolutely no difference in my life.

    Some people have a hard time realising that women have better priorities than "getting attention". Hell, wear a bikini because YOU like looking at yourself :love:

    Dudes shouldn't wear speedos unless it's to swim. Competitively.

    Women on the other hand should wear bikinis all the time.

    I may have some personal bias here though.

    I don't think cammo cargo shorts and muscle t's are appropriate either...but who am I to judge?
