I am 5ft 1 and aiming to be 105lbs!0

I'm 5' and 48 yrs old, and I am setting my goal at 135. I know it's possible, but I am more into seeing it I can keep it there.0

I am 5 ft and 39 y.o.. I am broad shouldered and have DD's even when I am thin. My goal weight is between 120-125. I usually wear a size 0-4 when I'm at that weight. I did get down to 103 at one point but I looked awful...ribs and back bone showing.
You need to base it off of your frame size also...look at the guidelines that fittoday14 provided.0 -

Hi girls! I just wanted to say not to get too focused on the numbers on the scale.....5"0" tall and 120pds can look so different depending on how much lean muscle mass you have vs fat. Take a peek at this pic of one woman same weight= totally different body. Measurements tell you the real story! Make sure you weight train to build that muscle mass - the more muscle you have the more calories you burn just doing nothing!! http://gettwicetheresults.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/deb155lbs3.jpg0

I am 5'1.5" and my goal is 115 which is right in the middle of a healthy BMI. At this point, having been overweight since I had children 17 years ago, I would take any healthy BMI and be very proud and happy :-)0

I guess I would be considered "Small Frame", so with the 117.5 GW, I fall into the "Medium Frame" category. I think I will try & get there and then re-evaluate at that time. This is great info @fittoday140 -
I'm 5'2" and about to be 32 (in July) My BMI index tells me that I should weigh between 125-135, however, I have a wider (broader) bone structure so my personal goal weight is more around 140-145. I have a LONG ways to go, but I'm finally taking those baby steps so I'm getting somewhere, even if it takes a while!0

I am 4'11.75 and I am currently 119. I would like to get to 110 or at least 18% body fat. Dont know if I will ever get there but I will try:)0
-
I'm 5'0 and medium framed. My goal measurements are 34-24-34. Currently I'm 35-28-38. I'm hoping not to lose all my chest... but that's generally part of the package deal when you lose weight
My goal weight is set to 110, but once I hit my measurements I will be focused on toning up rather than losing more weight.0 -
I'm 35, 5'1, currently weigh 142. Over the years I've been any where from 95-170 lbs. Right before I got pregnant with my twins I was at 132 which I would say I was the most happy at that. Right now I'm aiming for 135, but this time I want to really tone up so I guess I'm not really sure what my final goal is either!0

I'm 27 and 5'2. I have medium build and seem to gain and retain muscle rather easily. Given the way my body is shaped and such my ultimate weight goal would be around 130. I've currently lost 17 lbs of my initial 50 lbs goal. After I lose that 50lbs I'm planing on just trying to maintain it for several months before making the push to lose the "last" 20 pounds which would put me to the 130 range. I'm not trying to put any sort of unrealistc goal on myself. I haven't set "I must lose this weight by x amount of months etc.... I believe doing that is a recipe for failure. I'm focusing on long lasting and healthy weight loss. Concentrating on understanding how food affects my body and eating calories that really do feed my body.0

I think it depends on your specific body type. I am 5'1" and 21 years old. There are probably many women on here who would look great at 105 or 110 but I think for myself I am aiming for 120-130. I have a bigger body build in general and I am hoping to do a little more lifting when at goal weight which may raise the number on the scale. If you're not sure about your goal weight, just see how you look and when you like it, just stop (if it is a healthy weight of course and not underweight). Good luck on your journey!0

this is very true, and if that photo is accurate, it illustrates it very well.0 -
Wow what a variety - not only in goal weights but in what that constitutes for a size. I am 5 ft .5 inches (that extra inches means alot) and 40 years old and currently weight 169 very comfortably wear a size 12 short pants. And size M shirt. About 11 years ago I lost 35 lbs prior to having my first baby. I fluctuated between 128 and 135 and was able to comfortably maintain 135 and looked amazing, felt strong and energized. However that means I would be overweight according to the BMI calculator. So enough to not be flagged as overweight would be ideal. I don't want to be in a place where I'm constantly trying to lose 5 more lbs. So we will see.0

I'm there too!!! I'm also 5'0" 28 years old (until end of April anyway) with a goal of 120! But ideally would like to be around 115-118 depending on how things go. More my goal is to be back in a bikini sometime this summer and stop being so fat... I am at the highest weight I have ever been in my life and it's getting ridiculous. I hate that I am always so uncomfortable in all my clothes and just generally out of shape... It's pathetic! I want to enjoy being young and living in Chicago while I can, and stop worrying about how I look.0 -
reading this, i'm realizing everyone's different. I don't think less than 125 would look good on me anymore... I'm almost 40 and haven't weighed that much since I was 25. Also learning that 125 on someone else looks different than 125 on me....Interesting....0

I'm 5'1" and my goal is 120 - 125. I am staring at 192 but tend to build muscle really well, so I may never get to that weight on the scale. So my alternate goal is size 6-8 or 125... Whichever comes first.0
-
115-125. I think the higher end is more realistic as there will be some muscle involved (hopefully!).0
-
I am 5'1", my goal weight was 126lbs. I did get to that and at that point my bodyfat % was 21.8% . I am now 130lbs and my BF% is now 15.1 %.
The scales don't always tell the true story, so be sure to take other measurements as well.0 -
Barely 5ft, ugw is 100-1050

I am 5ft and weigh 158lbs...sucks. I am holding myself accountable and have a goal weight of 135lbs, the weight I weighed 8 months ago. I had a really stressful job and that weight is my goal right now. I'd be happy even if I got back to 140 at this point. When I make it to my goal weight, I think the lowest I'd want to go is like 120 or so, because I have a lot of weight in my butt that is hard to go away, if I lose weight any where else it might not look too healthy.0
-
I'm 5'2". Mine is about 115 but I honestly don't care too much about the weight. I've been gaining muscle and staying the same weight for about 2 months now. I def. look better than before...so weight isn't too big of a deal for me.0
-
I'm 5' and am shooting for 110-100 range. I currently wear a 6 and would like to wear a 4 or 2.0
-
I'm 5'2" inches and my goal right now is 125 lbs. I may want to go lower or higher, but I'll know better about what my goals should be the closer I get. My goal right now is to fit back into my size 4 jeans, but I wouldn't complain if I fit into a size 2! I still think that even then I'm going to be in the higher end of my healthy weight range. I have a VERY large chest that hasn't changed in size with weight gain or loss. So those babies will add some extra pounds for sure whether I'm a size 8 or a size 0. I also remember being happy around the 125 range when I was there before and it was easily maintainable. So that's another reason I chose that goal. But the clothes are definitely what I will most likely be going by rather than the weight.0

I'm 5'1" and right now i'm 125lbs but my goal is to be 115lbs. In high school i never weighed over 90lbs and I never want to be that thin again but even though i'm thin to most people now, I'm not comfortable with the way I look so I would be very happy to lose the 10lbs so I can feel more confident about my body. I hear all the time that I look fine and I shouldn't lose any weight but if I'm not happy I feel like it's up to me to make the changes I want no matter what anyone else says. I wish I had a bigger support system though so if anyone wants to add me feel free to do so. The more motivators a person has the better.0

I'm 5'2" and 33. Small to medium build. I'm happy where I am, which ranges from 118 to 121. The number doesn't matter so much now that I'm focusing on toning. Kickboxing has firmed up my thighs and arms.
My initial goal was 130, then 125, and more came off unintentionally. Set a goal that seems right for you, and as you lose you'll know whether you want to go for more.0 -
11 years ago I was at 114 and that was the perfect weight for me. I have since gained weight and am now setting small attainable goals. I don't think I'll ever see 114 again
My next goal is 130 and I'm 3 lbs away! My next goal will be 125 then 120.
Good luck to all of you on your weight loss journey's!0
