Pork ribs slow-smoking over charcoal and chunks of applewood in the "El Cheapo Brinkmann" smoker, and pretty much any golf course.

Chlorine and sunscreen - because they remind me of summer and being at the pool or the beach as much as possible as a kid

Motorcycle exhaust (even on my jeans after a long day of riding) - one of my favorite places to be is on my bike

Snuggling into my husband's chest and smelling his cologne

I'm sure there are more that aren't coming to mind.

For me, it's a gasoline & oil exhaust mix from starting up the boat. It means COTTAGE.

I LOVE cooking because I love all of the smells. Especially bacon. Makes my apartment smell like meat-candy heaven. Baking sweet things like brownies and cookies make me happy too. So much so that I have begun making excuses to bake cookies and ship them to people.

I also love the smell of sawdust and sweat. That's what my dad smells like every day.

I like the way chai tea smells and tastes because it reminds me of Christmas. So does apple cider (the hot stuff, not the alcohol which makes me a different sort of happy).

    Ether!

But seriously, I love the smell of pie tobacco. I spent a lot of time as a kid in old school tobacco shops, and the smell was wonderful.

Love the smell of Stargazer Lilies, reminds me of when I was little and lived in California.

Vanilla Fields perfume, I wore it in high school, smelling it now definitely brings back memories! And another perfume is Cierra (sp.) my step-mom wore it when we were in Mexico a long time ago - anytime someone walks by me wearing it I instantly feel like I'm back in Tijuana. It was so hot out that day her perfume was almost choking me!

And of course I like the way my husbands armpits smell lol, he acts like it annoys him when I snuggle up to smell but I think he really likes it lol :blushing:
  • My husbands skin at the end of the day, mixed with a hint of the cologne he put on in the morning.....
