I had a bowl of the black bean plus 13 soup with extra stir-fry veggies added. Then pork loin, mixed veggies, cheddar cheese, green beans and Pita bread. Also had some Chobani Greek yogurt that got ate before I thought to take a picture. It was all pretty good.

We hosted a Crawfish Boil last night and played Cards Against Humanity with friends. Someone brought this amazing chocolate peanut butter bark as well. Not pictured: jalapeño bacon cheese dip baked in a cast iron skillet. So mad I forgot to take a pic of that!091qcw2h5j34.jpg

We were out of power for over eight hours today. {crow in power sub station} I worked on the tractor all day and it was still out when I came in. So we went to town and picked up Pizza Hut {Hawaiian Luau pizza and bread sticks}, then I went by my office to shower. That was late afternoon/early evening and when we got home the power was back on. Later tonight I had a ham and Pepper Jack sandwich with tomato, onion and pickle. Also had green beans and a carrot. Both suppers were good.

I had the last bowl {I think} of Black Bean + 13 soup {with extra veggies}. This is a blend of Bob's Red Mill soup mixes, plus some of their pearl couscous. I use several of their products and have enjoyed them all. Then had a turkey breast sandwich, roasted potatoes, green beans, cheddar cheese and an apple. It was all pretty good. A big supper, but I worked in the field all day, and only had a handful of almonds and a protein bar for lunch. I haven't done the math yet, but I bet I'll still be searching for calories at bedtime.

After I took the pic, I cut the chop down to 4 oz and the next morning, made a hash out of the left over pork, adding chopped potato, onion and garlic. It was a very filling breakfast and I didn't waste any of the pork.nsfde0253z6y.jpg

I made fettucini alfredo with chicken and broccoli. Instead of pasta I made "noodles" out of zucchini with a "vegetti"slicer. I made alfredo sauce using 8 oz of neufchatel (lowfat cream cheese),2 cups of skim milk,1.5 cups of parmesian cheese, and a tsp of garlic powder. Heat til melted and thickened. The alfredo sauce is 190 calories per 1/2 cup serving and the zucchini is 20 calories per cup (can't beat that compared to pasta!) Oh and all my kids LOVED it....one asked why some noodles were green after finishing a big bowl...the other 3 just said "mmmmmmm" lol
