A ham and turkey breast sandwich with pepper jack and cherry tomatoes. Corn on the cob, stir-fry and green beans. Then the last of the Key lime pudding. That means it's time to make more. 0 0

Broiled salmon, mashed potatoes, steamed broccoli and corn on the cob. No pic yet as it is still cooking. Eat up, everyone!0

My wife did the cooking tonight. She made her hamburger gravy with ground turkey, Jalapeno and onion, and served it over rice. She also used some of the green beans I had picked out of the garden this morning to make green beans and new potatoes. Since we are picking peppers now, I thawed some of the last of last year's Jalapeno poppers. It was all very good. 0 0

Black bean and veggie soup {from the freezer} with a few green beans added. I was going to add mixed veggies as well, but I was out and it is storming in Blountstown Florida right now. It was still pretty good. And I'm doing a grocery run tomorrow before work, so I'll restock then. 0 0

Nothing super exciting, but I had a teriyaki chicken breast, a cup of whole grain brown rice and some sliced beets. It was yummy though!0

I made black bean soup with Bob's Red Mill beans. I would share a picture, but it kind of looks like sludge. :grumble:
Tasted great, though! Decent amount of protein as well.0

            I guess it's just a soup kind of night.0

We had tuna melts. I made the tuna salad with peas, instead of mayo I used nonfat plain Greek yogurt, and put it on 100% whole grain English muffins! It was delicious, I just wish I had taken a pic!0

So many of these ideas sound great. I pulled a double at work tonight so it was a bag of microwave popcorn and a few bottles of water for me.0

That is the good thing about soups. They can be frozen in serving sizes, Pop in the microwave and viola'...a meal in seconds.0

The black bean veggie soup I had a couple of nights ago was cooked in May. I make really big pots of soup, and freeze about half of it in small ziplock bags so I have a fall back plan for my work suppers. It is already in my recipe box, and I freeze it in a two serving size {1 cup}.0

My cousins are up from Tampa. We always go out to Pizza Hut when they are up. I had half a slice on Super Supreme, 2/3 slice of Pepperoni and a slice and a half of Hawaiian. I will have to do a little extra cardio tonight, but it was still worth it. 0 0

My customers brought me supper tonight. It was a salad, yellow rice, green beans, fried and baked chicken. A little later than I'm used to, but very good. 0 0
