Friday night we had a trivia night so it was a lot of snacky food. Cheese & crackers, chips & guacamole, chicken wings, sliced brats, cookies, beer and wine.
Saturday night my father in law took us out to dinner at the casino steakhouse to use some of his comp points. I had half a crab cake appetizer, steak Oscar with crabmeat and asparagus with a baked potato. And lots of red wine.
Tonight I made creamy chicken enchiladas.0 -

You and my wife must have a psychic link. She decided on Jambalaya too. Rainy here too, but not so cold.

Margie cooked spicy Jambalaya on this rainy day. It was very good. We almost had the chance for a romantic candle light supper, but the power came back on before we ate.

Shepherd's pie is for supper this evening. Made with ground turkey instead of ground beef(ran out of ground beef awhile ago and since ground beef is so expencive I decided to buy ground turkey instead, because ground turkey is cheaper and it tastes good and it's better for u). Once I have made it, I will have to take a pic and share. OMG it's my favourite comfort food!0

A salad made with lettuce, cucumber, carrot, tomato, bell pepper, {I forgot the onion}, sausage, bacon, turkey burger and a rotisserie chicken thigh. Very good. {470 calories, 31g protein}
