Mine are usually around $60. It's the dyeing that's expensive. My hair is long and I often end up paying like $200 for colour.

Cut/color with tip is usually around $75-80. My cousin does my hair, so I get a little discount.

$0. I am a licensed Cosmetologist and I taught my fiance how to cut my hair. He cuts the length and I do my own layers. :)

$45 for cut, $45 more for color. I only color maybe 2x a year?

My hair is long too, and while this may seem expensive, it has taken me FOREVER to find someone who can cut my hair the way I like it AND not try to tell me to chop it all off.

Shaved head so $0. I also resharpen my razors to make them last longer (old pants leg method if you want to look it up). Probably costs pennies a shave.

    $0 - I cut my own hair.

In the past I've spent between $8 and $65 and every single haircut sucked pretty badly. I hate salons.

The last actually good haircut I had was in 1997 and cost around $25
  • BC most hair dressers argue with me about how short I want it, I only go to one person and I pay around $25 with her tip. When she colors it, it's around $40.

I'm a guy and I buzz my hair every 2 weeks. Maybe more depending on the weather.

    So here's the math:
I buy a $50 set of clippers about once every 5 years.
    So let's see, 50/5 = $10 per year.
$10/26 haircuts per year = just about $0.38.

Yes, I pay about 38 cents to cut my own hair.
