What do you say to yourself during a hard workout?

I do a lot of self-talk during my workouts especially when they start to get tough. :grumble: Now that I am exercising more I realize how powerful these positive messages to myself really are!
During my runs, it is mainly about how athletes don't stop, they press on through the pain. Othertimes I pretend I am a train - "Choo, Choo" with wheels instead of legs...I know it sounds silly but is ALSO makes me smile which also helps me keep going too
Other times, I pick some words to say like a mantra like "Freedom, happiness, focus, confidence".
During calistenics and circuit training I tend to count more. While in yoga, I focus more on breathing with "inhale, exhale".
Whether it is counting, chanting, or saying "you can do this" over and over again what do YOU say so you will keep going?

Suck it up now so you dont have to suck it in later0

I remind myself that I am young, fit, and healthy. And as long as I have that, I can do anything!0

I've been doing T25 and when it starts to burn I usually just mentally tell myself "it's only 25 minutes. YOU CAN GET THROUGH IT"..
Then I end up doing another low impact workout later in the day!0 -
I tell myself "ok, get to the next km and I can stop"(of course I dont). Or I tell myself to just get it over with!0

It doesn't have to be profound. Sometimes I need to kick my own *kitten* and curse myself out so I will keep going.
The words may not always be positive but the result are.0 -
I think to myself that the first half would be a total waste if I don't do the second half of the workout.0

FASTER - music helps and another cyclist ahead even more since I have a hard time not chasing a rabbit.0

No you are not the only one whose butt sweats.
I am convinced my eyeballs sweat too.0 -

"You got this *kitten*!"
"Don't Pu*s out now!"0 -
Oh god, I'm awful to myself. I sometimes just swear, loudly (I do Insanity at home) but mainly it's 'do it your fat cow' or similar. I know it sound harsh but it's always worked for me with other things like school or house work etc. Sometimes I tell Shaun T to shut up or get sarky with him 'It IS burning, man' or 'you know I hate this one' or mock him when his voice squeaks... etc. Obviously. Being harsh with myself has always worked and I can't help but not chat back. I do switch off, though and go into auto pilot, or focus on my breathing. But mainly I'm horrible. When doing punches and things and kicks I pretend I'm kicking cancers *kitten*.0

"Eff you, Jillian Michaels!"
Kidding. Usually I just close my eyes and push through, saying to myself that there's just one more left. Even if there's several left.0 -
Don't disappoint the instructor0

I usually talk myself out of giving up...saying things like, "You can last another 5 minutes," or "Only 5 more to go. You can do it-no giving up!" That or I s**t talk to myself and tell myself to quit being a p**y. Always makes me finish on track! lol0

I was big into sports in college. I close my eyes and picture me running back then, and hear my coach's voice in my head yelling "Push it, Trudy!!"0

While doing short runs (3 to 4 miles), I just keep telling myself , "x more minutes and I'm done!" On long runs of 7 to 11 miles it's "burger and fries, burger and fries" because that's the only time I eat burger and fries, after I've burned the calories for it. With my 5 to 6 miles run... well, then I tell myself, "at least I don't have to run 7+ miles today!"
With the T25 workouts, "It's only 25 minutes, suck it up!"0
