    3. Experimented with 1200, 1300, 1000, 800, 1400, definitely do not recommend very low calories long term - did not do me any favours, I eat 1400 now + exercise calories
    4. Used to vary a lot but now I do 6 days a week

    1. Pounds lost: About 120 thus far
    2. How long it took: Maybe about a year for the most part
    3. How many calories you were eating a day: Depends upon the phase -- usually during the more serious loss phase, 1700+/-
    4. How many days a week you worked out: 4-5 usually
    5. How many calories did you burn during your workout: Depends

6' 3" male. combined resistance training and cardio. Currently workouts tend to burn 500-600 calories about 3-5 times per week, depending on schedule. My goal calorie intake is approximately 2000 calories per day. I have done better the past couple of weeks but had basically hit maintenance for a few months. My low weight was 213.8 but current weight is 225. This is different for everybody.

I have to do this in three stages to match my ticker:

    1. The first 60
    2. 5 years
    3. Don't know, didn't track it
    4. None
    5. Ditto, obviously (I ended up at about 35% body fat.)

    1. The next 25
    2. 1.5 years
    3. Netting 1200 (this really sucked, btw, and I ended up with serious issues related to undereating.)
    4. Six (all cardio)
    5. About 300 (About 27% BF)

    1. The last 15
    2. Six months
    3. Between 2000 and 2400 calories
    4. Six (lifting x 3, cardio x2, one active rest day)
    5. Don't track it now, but less than 300. (I started TDEE and my exercise is included in my calorie goal. I'm at about 18-19% BF now.)

I now maintain at 2500-2600. The moral of my story is lift weights and eat enough to fuel that. :)

    1. Pounds lost: around 70lb, some before I started on MFP
    2. How long it took: 14.5 months, but 60lb was in the first 11 months.
    3. How many calories you were eating a day: for first 11 months about 1400, plus 200-300 exercise calories. Now my target is set to 1500 plus exercise calories, but I will go over this on meals out or if I have some wine with dinner on the weekend. Im not trying to lose much more weight so I don't care if it takes several months. Still losing slowly at the moment and I'm happy with that.
    4. How many days a week you worked out: 5 or 6, including both cardio and strength training.
    5. How many calories did you burn during your workout: between 200 and 700. Usually around 300 per day
