Monday Morning check in time for me. I seem to be hanging at about the same weight. I haven't exercised all week but have had to work 7 days straight working VERY hard. I hope I can kick it in gear. My manager is out sick, one of our keyholders had a car wreck while on vacation and is out and we had one very crucial employee just decide to quit with no notice. No show, no call. PLUS, I'm supposed to be preparing for my move to OKC in 2 wks! I worked something like 56 hrs last week. HR will NOT be happy with those over time hours but it can't be helped. I headed in this morning at 7 am to unload a truckload of freight. I have all the paperwork for last week to prepare and payroll to get posted. I'd better get going.
    Here's my stats:

    Oct 1 SW 190.5
    Oct 4 191.5
    Oct 11 190.
    Oct 31 goal wt 185.5

    4.5 lbs to go!

    October 11: 148.25

    Hooray! I'm right on target.

Congrats, Bekylou! Congrats momtofour! Congrats iamanne!

Shelli and just_peachy>> You can do it!

Amanda, you're brother should be very proud! There's a big difference in your pics so I bet they'll notice. They might need a hint to say something about it though. Heh. And I sent you a link about walking.

    loveme>> That's the spirit!

tralalara>> Congrats on being down 1/2 a pound! And wow, you're a very busy woman. What kind of work do you do?

Glad you're running again, Terri. I can't wait to be there myself.

    Happy Columbus Day to everyone!

Well, I was married Oct 18th, 2008  So our anniversary is coming up and I've been non-exsistent lately trying to figure out plans and money and clothes, etc. We're thinking of site seeing all day Saturday and partially Sunday in St Louis (even though we've lived 30 min away our whole lives and never really checked out much there...) we're thinking about hitting up the Arch, City Museum, Botanical Gardens (which is where he proposed in 2007  ), The Zoo and a few other possible spots and then Staurday evening, going to the Lumiere Place Hotel and Casino for a nice dinner (which means I get to wear my lil black dress) and then might be staying at the hotel.

Anyway, my week/weekend has been ok, I had family in town and trying to feed 9 people which includes 5 kids...so it's been a little rough, I'm sure my sodium is actually quite higher than my diary has said. And exercise has been 2 quick walks and some mall window shopping. I'm hoping to rock out a few more days of 30 day shred, hopefully I can get one in later today and then 2 more at the least this week. Of course, I plan on getting some walking in, but hopefully it will be longer than a mile each time.

Sorry I've been non-exsistent a lot lately (I have been in all my threads and not sure why) but I'm still here, lurking at least :ohwell: Grandpa had his surgery and is home, ut we got a phone call at 11p last night that he fell, and it took my husband and I a good 45min just to get him up and in his chair. I hate seeing him like this, it's like he's just giving up. But anyway, I don't want to turn the thread that way, so I will 'see' ya all later.

    Bru

IT's MONDAY! Which means a new set of BMK Challenges!!

This week: Do a fun activity - grab a partner if you can! 20-30 minutes at least! Try something like mini golf, volleyball, tennis, basketball, laser tag, rock climbing, hopscotch, jumping double dutch...whatever - just make it FUN!

Also, let's get in a minimum of 30 minutes of jogging or walk/jog per day for 5 days

. And as for the food challenge: everyone try something new or a food that you don't like again to see if maybe your taste buds have changed since you had it last, you never know!

**This is Kelly's challenge while she's on her cruise, so if she can do this while on vacation and on a cruise, we can do it too!! Let's move it!

    Happy Monday Morning!

I did really well yesterday until about 8:30pm when DF brought me a great big piece of DQ ice cream cake. Doesn't he KNOW I can't say no to ice cream? :grumble: Anyway, I got up today and walked on the treadmill for an hour burning 480 cals. So far, on track for today!

Congratulations to everyone who met their goals this week. :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou:

Hello Teri, Phyllis and everyone else old and new, I've missed this group!!

I did so well since joining this group and came within 2 pounds of my goal weight. I stayed there pretty effortlessly, got a little lazy with checking in and keeping the diary. Life through a few curve balls, and even though I made some lame attempts to get back on this site, I didn't commit. It's amazing what just staying conscious does! Since being off track, I gained a few pounds, but more than that I lost the habit of moving my body everyday. Even though my weight didn't suffer horribly, I noticed I held myself differently and my clothes felt shlumpier. My DH is out of town for a week so it seems like a great time to get back into a rhythm.

Well, staying at 174 again this week....really down to the last 9 lbs before goal.....and sodium is killing me..have been getting decent workouts in , but hoping its just the sodium because I have really been at or under calorie most of the days......so we'll see....liking the BMK challange this week -- but have to admit, I miss hearing from Kelly, hope she is having a FANTASTIC time....would love to play some tennis, but getting someone to play (other than my son--who would but that wouldn't really be "playing tennis" but....I don't know) anyhow, how all is well with everyone else....good evening!

tralalara>> Congrats on being down 1/2 a pound! And wow, you're a very busy woman. What kind of work do you do?

I'm assistant manager of a retail store in a very busy outlet mall. When the manager is out I AM the manager! I'm moving to OKC in a couple of weeks to open a new store for our company and I'm sure I'll be very busy there too. I worked from 7 am to 6 pm today. Just came home and crashed. Made the hubby cook breakfast for dinner since I was too tired to do anything. My work is never done!

welcome to all the newbies, this is a great group...and the little challanges help a lot too....

tralalara....sorry you have been so busy, but sounds like you are burning some calories too, unloading stuff....anyhow, I could never work in retail--my WHOLE paycheck would be spent before I even got it,...HA!!!

Heading off to work, chilling down again here in Ohio, hoping to get a walk/run in at the track before picking up my son, then both my kids are getting haircuts today...whew!! They need them BAD!!!!

    Have a GREAT day everyone!!...:flowerforyou:
