I have a good friend doing chemo right now. She is on her 8th of 12 treatments and doing well. I know this is quite a challenge for you and sorry your are having to go through it. Keep the faith!I will keep you in my prayers
After reading a bunch and talking with people, I called the oncologist on Friday and said I would go ahead with chemo. Tomorrow (Monday) I have a MUGA scan, just to make sure my heart can take it. By all accounts my heart is fine (EKG was "rock solid normal"), but heart disease runs in my family. My mother had died of it within 3 weeks of turning 57; I'm 55. My lifestyle is much healthier than hers had been, but one can't be too careful.
Meanwhile, I'm corralling my questions for my Thursday oncology appointment. Hearing about other people's experiences helps me a great deal -- I'm grateful for all the input! :flowerforyou:

Everyone has done such a great job this month! This was my first time joining this type of challenge and I couldn't be happier with the results. I found myself getting competitive with myself each day and pushing myself to workout just a tiny bit more than usual. Can't wait for next month!
