And is it conducive to your healthy lifestyle? I am a probation officer, college student, and mom. I spend many days at my desk sitting and stressed and it takes a toll on my goals. So tell me, what do you do?

I'm an architect and mom. The mom part keeps me pretty active, but architects are notorious for sitting hours reviewing and refining construction drawings, lol!

I work in the office of a manufacturing plant, mostly accounts payable & receivable stuff.

It is a sedentary job, but I feel it does contribute to my goals because it involves about 10% of the stress of my previous career as a quality assurance officer for a large non-profit. I make less money too...but it's totally worth it, and still a pretty decent job with appropriate compensation & benefits :-)

One of my favorite things about my current job is that it's a very small office, and there aren't a bunch of catty women obsessing over fad diets and sabotaging one another with treats daily. That seems to be the norm in most office settings these days, YUCK...the guys (and one woman) in my office could not care less if I'm having a Cadbury egg or a big kale salad and bowl of lentils, and they never bring in food. It really helps!!

Thankfully I work in a VERY small office where everyone keeps to themselves (save for the guy across the hall who feels in necessary to tell me every time one of his clients blinks). I enjoy what I do so much but it keeps me stressed a good amount of the time.

I'm a medical billing specialist, so I spend a good chunk of time at a desk. But I also have to go up to our front lobby quite a bit to talk to patients, so I feel like I walk a good amount of time at work.

I work for a cardiology practice, though, so I have a lot of very healthy co-workers who eat well and work out and are incredibly encouraging in those areas, and that's been really helpful.

It actually means that I tell people that they suck because they aren't following established process/policy, or I tell the people who write the process/policy that they suck because the customers are getting screwed. It also means I am surrounded by fellow nerds who either got their degree in the wrong field, or they didn't finish their degree for whatever reason. We have fun though!

ETA: As far as "lifestyle" goes....No, I don't make enough money for the lifestyle I would like to have. :ohwell:

Cost Analyst for a defense contractor. Definitely not conducive to a healthy lifestyle! It's pretty sedentary so I have to make time for working out after leaving the office. I am able to bring pretty much anything into the office as a meal so I'm luckier than some!

That would be awesome! I will make that suggestion at the next department meeting.

I'm a legal assistant for two corporate/commercial real estate lawyers. (YAWN! LOL)

They are seriously awesome people, though. My partner has her office across from my desk, but the younger associate has his office halfway around the building, so I get quite a bit of walking done on any given day (12K-15K steps per day). Plus, nobody really monitors my time as long as I get my work done well, so that means I can fit in my workouts most everyday without issue AND hang on MFP. :P
