    I like both. I've seen all the movies from both and almost all the star trek episodes. (Some of the original, All of TNG, All of DS9, Almost all of Voyager. I think there's a few I've missed.

    Have also read many many of the star trek and star wars books.

    Storm troopers vs redshirts

    Let's see the Storm troopers can't hit the side of a barn, but the redshirts die so easily. It's almost like the perpetual energy machine of tying a piece of butter bread, butter side up on the back of a cat and tossing it out a window. A cat always lands on its feet, but butter bread always lands butter side, so the cat would just spin hovering over the ground.

    Star Wars = my childhood, so have to go with that.

    I never could get through an episode of Trek, or watch any movies. I feel like that is a higher level of nerddom I never entered....

    I can argue for either (I love both)... Technologically Star trek had better ships, weapons and shields. Star wars has better fighter Jedi , and sith and a broader spectrum of alien life forms


    However there are a couple of battles I would like to see

    Darth Vader VS Q

    Borg cube VS Death star

    Storm troopers vs redshirts

    Borg Cube vs. Death Star.... so IN!

    Ok, I am gonna throw this in.

    BSG, the re-imagined series.

    THIS - That Series trumped everything Sci Fi to date...period.

    FWIW - I have always been a fan of both SW and ST. The new ST by JJ Abrams is outstanding in every way!
