    Star Wars = my childhood, so have to go with that.

    I never could get through an episode of Trek, or watch any movies. I feel like that is a higher level of nerddom I never entered....


    now showtunes.....

    star wars was written for a kids audience...

    ...star trek was written for an adult audience.

    that's all you need to know.

    I can argue for either (I love both)... Technologically Star trek had better ships, weapons and shields. Star wars has better fighter Jedi , and sith and a broader spectrum of alien life forms


    However there are a couple of battles I would like to see

    Darth Vader VS Q

    Borg cube VS Death star

    Storm troopers vs redshirts

    Borg Cube vs. Death Star.... so IN!

    Ok, I am gonna throw this in.

    BSG, the re-imagined series.

    THIS - That Series trumped everything Sci Fi to date...period.

    FWIW - I have always been a fan of both SW and ST. The new ST by JJ Abrams is outstanding in every way!

    Star Trek = Jean Luc Picard. OH! and Benjamin Sisko, ESPECIALLY when he was angry. That is just sexxxy.

    Personally I think The borg would take out the death star.... No shield on the death star and a giant fricken open space to shoot in while the borg had multiphasic shields and lets not forget the cube was only the outer part of a much faster sphere ( wow I majorly nerded out there lol)

    When I was a kid I watched star wars not really knowing a lot about it. As I got older I tried to go back and watch it and it just doesn't do it for me. But I loved star trek then and still love it now. So for me it's not even close trekie for life.

    Why can't I just love both?!?

    Borg Cube versus the Death Star? One cube probably destroyed with relative ease, but the collective would quickly overtake the Deathstar without using too many cubes or spheres.

    I love the metaphorical content of Star Wars, though, even though I get more entertainment out of Star Trek. And as for tabletop gaming I really enjoy Star Wars X-wing and have yet to play Star Trek Attack-Wing, even though my username...well...
