    Ummm...it's on 4/20.

I'll be celebrating Hitler's birthday, of course!!! jk, jk.

Sure - humor for the 4/20 reference...........

Not so funny to joke about celebrating Hitler's Birthday -

Did YOU have relatives die in concentration camps?!

If you did - you wouldn't joke about it...............

Jews don't usually celebrate Easter anyway.

    This too.

I DON''T celebrate Easter - and no where did I say I did...........................................

NOR do I celebrate a man who killed 6 million Jews...........

Sorry if you think this is funny -

I fail to see the humor in it..........

But again - it's probably not your family's history............

    :indifferent:

    Eating.

Mmmmmmm, ham and homemade macaroni and cheese.

Wait..... is it okay to eat ham and cheese while smoking weed on Hitler's birthday and hunting rabbits during your visit from Aunt Flo?

    I'm SO CONFUSED!

At what point will it be considered acceptable to make jokes about it? (Humans have a longstanding history of making jokes about the most awful of atrocities. It's a very effective coping mechanism that helps people come to terms with it.)

Please let me know and I'll put it on my calendar.

    ETA:
Also, some of my best friends are rabbits...so not funny.
I am curious about this, too. Based on Spanish Inquisition jokes being popular in the 1970's, apparently it can't be more than about 150 years.

I remember a lot of Civil War jokes from my childhood. Several family members in my immediate line died in that war. I suppose those should have been deemed "not funny" as well?

(At least she had the main course for the family dinner after the funeral though.)

Holding the 12th annual Zombie Day, because there's a whole lotta folks rising from the dead! :D Zombie movies, zombie games, and a lovely jello brain to cap it off. (no pun intended..)

We get about 20+ people, it's gotten epic.

My grandmother got run over by a reindeer. Christmas is still a touchy subject in my family.

...and by making this joke, you obviously have the same beliefs as those who participated in this particular war/atrocity/subject. Those are the rules. You should be ashamed. (Do you feel ashamed?)

Is Easter coming? ...It's not this week is it? Because cooking out Saturday and Sunday and I won't allow Jesus to screw up my plans

I don't think that a day/rememberance of an event can mess up one's plans.. just a thought

Going to mass to celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, spending time with my siblings and family. I forgot about the eggs. Going to colour them the night before and have a hunt in the morning for them. Going to doing some studying also, got a final the next morning.

I am going to try to make the most of the day as I can, it should be amazing :)

Actually we do both. We celebrate Passover which has strong base for Easter and we joke about Hitler, too. And yes, I lost family in camps.
