    Is Easter coming? ...It's not this week is it? Because cooking out Saturday and Sunday and I won't allow Jesus to screw up my plans

    Going to mass to celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, spending time with my siblings and family. I forgot about the eggs. Going to colour them the night before and have a hunt in the morning for them. Going to doing some studying also, got a final the next morning.

    I am going to try to make the most of the day as I can, it should be amazing :)

    Actually we do both. We celebrate Passover which has strong base for Easter and we joke about Hitler, too. And yes, I lost family in camps.

    At what point will it be considered acceptable to make jokes about it? (Humans have a longstanding history of making jokes about the most awful of atrocities. It's a very effective coping mechanism that helps people come to terms with it.)

    Please let me know and I'll put it on my calendar.

    Also, some of my best friends are rabbits...so not funny.
    I am curious about this, too. Based on Spanish Inquisition jokes being popular in the 1970's, apparently it can't be more than about 150 years.

    I remember a lot of Civil War jokes from my childhood. Several family members in my immediate line died in that war. I suppose those should have been deemed "not funny" as well?
