    Late to find this thread, but hoping to join anyway. I've gone 21 miles so far in May and I'm setting my goal for am additional 25 by the end of the month.

    My goal in May is to just start running, period. In March I tried to start running and got frustrated that I could not run more than 100 yards without stopping. Since then I lost 10 pounds, and last night I felt like trying again to run. I found my happy place, and ran for almost a mile! I am excited! I used to run around 30 miles a week (back in the day), and I miss running very much! Hopefully this is the only the beginning of getting back into the grove! :glasses:

    5/2 – 5.07 miles
    5/3 – 5.10 miles (negative splits plus stronglifts)
    5/4 – 5.11 miles (3.1 race pace, 2 miles easy pace)
    5/5 – 5.09 miles (:30/:30 intervals plus stronglifts)
    5/6 – 5.28 miles (easy run)
    5/7 – 6.12 miles (easy run plus stronglifts)
    5/8-5/11 – 1.0 miles (On a cruise, running track closed due to high winds. Could only get through 1 mile on the boring treadmill but lots of untracked walking including many stairs. Still managed to get in stronglifts.)
    5/12 – 7.22 miles (easy run plus stronglifts)
    5/13 – 5.34 miles (:30/:30 intervals)
