Not sure if this is a victory, but I had the first person ask if I had a operation and then insisted I must be on some medicine. Which kind of felt good and bad.
Also I went and got more holes put in my belt, I really need to buy a new one because things are getting stupid, but I like keeping this one to see progress.22 -
The other day doing yoga I managed to get to get into this arm balance called eight angle. Pretty excited about that, as I had seen the pose on Instagram and had no idea I would actually be able to do it.17

I always have hockey on Sunday evenings and usually end up eating everything in sight when I get home. Yesterday, I prelogged before I left for the rink and I stuck to my plan! I can be really good at justifying that since I burned such and such *estimated* amount of calories, I can eat more so I was proud that I could stick to what I prelogged.26

I made it a whole month working out 3 times a week and eating healthy with a few junk foods here and there. Previously if I had allowed myself to eat candy or junk food, I would fall apart. Completely give up. Not this time!32

I’ve recently started C25K again and am on to week 2. Yesterday I was in a funk all day and didn’t feel like doing anything. After I’d put my partner to bed for night shift I went out to feed my horses then decided to just go for my C25K even if it was slow. I felt so much better for it.
Then this morning for the first time in what seems like forever, I woke up with my 4:40am alarm and walked out to feed my horses then came back to complete 10 x 1 minute intervals of skipping. Today I feel so much better than I did yesterday and I really think the exercise has a LOT to do with it28 -
Got EIGHT pull-ups today!40

Wearing size 10 (!) jeans and I'm comfortable in them!30

I pulled out a pair of leggings I haven't worn for 6 years and they fit like a dream!
Never thought I'd wear them again! Glad I hoarded them now 😂
Next goal is wear a crop top I bought before I met my partner 9 years ago and fit in it and more importantly feel confident in it!23 -
Today I caught myself mid self-sabotage and pulled myself out of it. Twice. The last couple of days I have been horrendous with my food. This morning when I was thinking about morning tea I had the thought of “well you’ve pretty much blown today already you may as well grab something from the bakery and start back fresh tomorrow” I recognised my behaviour and went to the grocery shop and got some tuna and crackers instead. My original plan was to have carrot and celery sticks for lunch with guacamole but as the day wore on I found myself leaning towards ordering a burger. Again I realised what I was doing and came home and ate my vege sticks with guac as originally planned. Im currently over my calories with dinner accounted for, but I’m planning a C25K to even that out a bit34

My running times are improving and my heart rate is dropping. Can’t wait for the snow to melt and see how I do in good conditions after a high mileage winter 😍30

Thanks, approaching almost 100lbs down from my highest and almost not "obese" (at least according to BMI).17 -
Mail-ordered 2 of the same tank-top in L and XL and the L fit better.24

I fit into my interview suit! The one I bought in 2006, in my mid-20s. So utterly jazzed by that!

I can sit in the tub with space on both sides of me, rather than both sides touching the tub! I really wished I had measured when I started this ~ it would be interesting to know how many inches I've lost!18

Today I went to the grocery store, stressed and hungry, to pick up my girlfriend's prescription. Had to wait 15 minutes for them to finish filling it.
Bought myself a lipstain cause my everyday one is running low, and they had the jalapeno cream cheese spread in that my partners like, which they did not have when I was last at the store. Did not buy myself any food.
Came home and ate a homemade personal turkey sausage pizza, and had a cup of ice cream with a measured amount of chocolate sauce.
I call that a definite NSV.24 -
Fitting in these white jeans ❣️❣️❣️37 -
I finished Week 2 Day 1 of Couch 2 5k and didn't need to skip any rounds this time. I did repeat week 1 so I had a little bit more time to prep but I felt great doing it23

I can now do a slow jog non-stop for 30 mins with an incline on the tread mill and not die. Same in that 30 min jog is I'm doing about 2.5 miles. Amazing how much I'll sweat in this leisure jaunt.26

My back doesn't hurt anymore when I'm cooking!24

I am seeing some shoulder definition!! I teared up when I saw these pics. My legs are in fine shape but I work so hard on those arms.

I hear you, Autumnpath, on the cooking! It feels so good not to feel tired when I'm standing up. And great work, WandRsmom, on the shoulders! They are great! Love the delts too.
My little NSV for today is, last night when lying in bed, my ribs were more apparent. I'm trimming down all over but it was neat to be able to feel them. Still have a lot of soft stuff up front, quite a large paunch, but everything else is looking and feeling much better. Another bigger NSV (scale related but the victory itself isn't) is that even though it's taken darn near three months to permanently lose my most recent five pounds, I have stuck with it and not given up.

My most recent NSV is completing an entire pilates workout without stopping.29

My NSV is that I'm back! I lost 34 pounds a few years ago, and kept it off for about 6 years. Then I studidly thought I had everything under control. I stopped logging my food, thinking I knew exactly what I should and should not eat. That led to me beginning to ignore portion sizes, and then to not paying attention to my eating at all. Add to that the fact that I gradually gave up exercising, and here I am with 13 pounds to lose. I realize how much I need the discipline of logging and am ready to recommit to mfp. Oh, and I LOVE this thread--thanks for all the posts. It helps keep me motivated.37
