I agree, the whole MFP woo-button is stupid.

Running has become quite uncomfortable lately... so I went shopping (sports bra in front) then I went looking for my very first sports bra (purple one at the back)

It took me a minute to realize there are THREE sports bras here. Wow--what a difference! Your new bra looks so teeny-tiny!!!13 -
When checking in for a cruise now they will use your passport photo for your ship ID. Last week the clerk looked at mine and said "You definitely need a new picture. This looks like your twin with extra pounds added." 50 pounds down!
At dinner the man next to me said "You really eat a lot for such a tiny woman". Wow! Someone called me tiny! And my meal included, a large salad, extra veggies and a lean protein. Glass of wine with cheese plate for desert.23 -
NSV: Sticking to the lunch I had packed for work today when a co-worker orders a pizza for themselves and shares with all of us. Social eating is a big thing where I work. In the past, I would have been the culprit in starting a social eating experience at work along with eating more than I anticipated of whatever we were having on top of my lunch.
Practicing self control as well as not allowing myself to feel quilty for not participating, especially since I have goals is my NSV.24 -

Able to do the hamstring exercise on my elbows and knees for my first time ever! (I usually substitute a standing version.) I couldn't even do the elbows and knees version when I was in my 20s (51 now). Woot!
relating to this one as i fight my way back from tendinopathy. i've been fighting just to find my damn glute medius muscle for rehab, which is the one that is most affected. well, i had doms o' death in that zone all day long, and just lying down to try and do a hip abduction without any weight a moment ago made me breathe through my teeth. felt it with every step that i took as my weight moved across to that leg.
but no post-exercise madness sensation out of the tendon itself. just normal, regular doms.
also, another small brag on my dad. we went to a museum today where there was this option to climb a vertical steel ladder bolted into a wall that was about 12 feet high. rungs about 14 inches apart, i would say. he went up it, being smart about how he did it because he started his own life on a ship of about that vintage and he's been up these kinds of ladders before.
and then once we were up we both realised the same ladder was the only way to get him back down.
he's 92. have i mentioned that recently? the two of us had a brief argument at the top about whether i should go first so as to be there to be fallen on if he should slip, or should wait at the top so as NOT to get fallen on if he should slip.
he won. and he got down just fine. i mean, i guess i don't know anyone else who's even close to his age so for all i know it's a perfectly normal thing for someone who's 92 to be able to do. but i don't actually think that i is26 -
Fitbit says my average resting heart rate is 55! Last blood pressure check at the doctor was 114/71. My secret? Early retirement = less stress, more activity.18

It was my birthday yesterday, and even though I still went over my calorie goal, I made sure to watch what I ate and didn't go over 2000 calories.29

Went out to eat with a bunch of family who is either obese or morbidly obese (and isn’t doing anything about it). I realized the changes I’ve made when we all ordered our food, especially when so many ordered huge portions and then a Diet Coke. I remember doing that. I also felt really bad for one particular family member, who for some reason feels very insecure about being around me (even though I do my best to never talk about weight loss with anyone...ever...as it is awkward the comments you receive about your own body), and so she only ever orders a cup of soup or a very small side salad. I can tell she wants more than that, but she is afraid that we are judging her for the way she eats. It just really reminds me of myself.34
