Today a co-worker admired my my dress. And then she said "you have been getting much smaller" I was happy to say I have indeed.10

Yesterday I really wanted "ice cream". Like, I could feel it in my mouth just thinking about it. At the grocery store, I almost checked out without it, but my son (bless his heart) convinced me to go back for a pint of so delicious coconut turtle trails. At home, I sat down with the carton, a spoon, and the latest episode of Call the Midwife. It was amaze-balls.
Here's the "victory" part: I did what I needed to do. Calorie wise it clocked in as a biggish lunch. I stayed under goal for the day and felt so much better for having listened to and honored what my body was telling me. I'm still in control, but not like white-knuckled willpower control. For me, that's huge.32 -
I had a huge NSV this Monday. For the past 4 weeks I have struggled with my planks on "ab day". My goal was to do 3 sets of 1 minute planks. Before Monday this seemed impossible. Some days I could do 1 set, others even that seemed crazy. But on Monday I decided to push myself and I did all 3 sets! It's the biggest improvement I've seen since I started weight training

I have been reading this thread for a few weeks now- currently on page 307! I had to skip to the end to post my proudest NSV to date.
That's me on the left. I have just completed a 10k obstacle course and had the time of my life! I overhauled my lifestyle on 16th Jan, logging in MFP everyday. A month later I joined a gym and now go 6 days a week. I love it. I've never exercised truthfully before.
Now I am 22.8 pounds lighter with probably another 20 or so to go. I am just so proud of my achievement in this photo.
It wasn't the quickest. But damn, I definitely had the most fun.

I bought some trousers last year to slim into. Forgot about them as I just didn't get there.
Found them in my wardrobe and not only do they fit, but they look good! I actually cried a little because it felt so good to know that what I'm doing is working.11 -
Just bought size 6 shorts. And my legs look pretty good11

My watch is on the lowest notch. Didn't think that be possible!7

I did 3 pull ups with the assist!!!!!11

Went out for a couple beers with a friend. Usually I only get this sweeter tasting beer called Honey Weiss but my taste buds have changed and I really enjoyed two new kinds I would have really disliked before. Still don't like the really bitter beers though.
It's amazing how reducing the amount of sugar/salt/msg I consume has led to enjoying a greater variety of food. Really been loving jalapeno mustard lately. Soooo much flavor for so little calories.14 -
Today marks 200 days log logging! AND yesterday my '5 week projected goal' generated by MFP was under my goal weight!! Yippee!! I am getting closer to that light at the end of the tunnel!41

I was chosen to be this month's MVP at my gym! I'm in awe!!! How does a gordita like myself (hahahan gordita) inspire so many fit people? I am so very honored!
I might be the slowest but I'll be damned if I'm not trying my hardest!
And I was screwing around on the rig yesterday before my wod started just to see how close I could get my toes to bar. I've never attempted toes to bar before. When I started CF 6 months ago I could barely get my knees above my hips hanging off the rig. I'm happy to say yesterday, even though my body was exhausted from the day before and my form on the Toes to Bar isn't correct as I had never even attempted one before I got my feet up to my chest. It was a proud moment.
I love it when my body can do things that six months ago I never dreamed of.16 -
New one today! I put on a pair of form-fitting capris for work, and I don't look down and think my thighs look like smoked hams. Glad to know my mental perception of my body is changing along with my actual measurements.18

Last night, I ate a couple of Lindt Lindor chocolate truffle balls at an event. Used to be one of my swoon-y food treats.
Tried the milk chocolate one . . . way too sweet, not pleasant to eat.
Tried the dark chocolate one, thinking this one would be more delicious. Not so much. Just sweetSweetSWEET.
And this is not something I talked myself into - the chocolate-dipped fresh strawberries still tasted very good, but the truffles were not so pleasurable anymore.8 -
Love reading these!
My NSV is I have completed all my scheduled workouts for the past 5 days. Normally I skip one due to work or other plans, but I've made morning runs, a tennis date, and a gym date to lift weights, even though the weather has been yucky. Now if I can just make that 10k run Saturday morning in what looks to be a monsoon13 -
I have a pair of pants fitting looser today! I usually can see a crease from where they cut in to my belly but not today!!12
-
Wearing a smaller bra I used to wear, AND had to adjust the straps almost 3" so it fit right!14
-
I have had a certain top sitting in my wardrobe for three years that I couldnt get past my shoulders let alone fit lol now it's fits beautifully I am in shock but so proud of myself23

My size 14 pants have been getting a bit baggy, so I tried on some used size 12 jeans yesterday and they fit perfectly. Bought 'em - 12 bucks and they look like they've never been worn. Gotta love thrift/consignment stores when you have a lot of weight to lose.15

A couple days ago my best friend's sister, who I haven't seen in a while, was at my house. She saw me and said "Wow, you've lost a ton of weight!"

Successfully biked 20 miles yesterday! Reached 18mph at one point. Honestly thought I couldn't go more than 5 miles, destroyed quadruple that!25

I've only been exercising more for around three weeks and counting calories on here for only two, but I had my first tiny NSV the other day when I was walking the 15 minutes or so to the bus stop in a hurry with my boyfriend. I managed to keep up with him the entire time without breaking a sweat (he's a foot taller than me almost, so with his long legs I'm normally trailing behind puffing and panting). I know it's only a tiny thing but I was pretty amazed that I could see such a change already, he was more out of breath than I was.28

Despite some super intense cravings from exam stress, I somehow -after some intense primary school calorie math - managed to keep to my daily calories!!!9

My shirt for works look like a robe now. And my trousers keep falling down. The bad side of weight loss I think.7
-
I had to buy another new belt! I've gone from size 56 pants to size 38 and this is actually a size 36 belt! And I was able to buy the belt from Walmart - no more King Size Direct for me!24
-
Had to go to hospital for an outpatients appointment last week with a doctor I've not seen before. He was discussing some tests I need to have, then finished with "it would be unusual to see this condition in a young, fit person with a normal BMI." Woo hoo - not had a doctor look at me and assume my BMI is not in the overweight range for a long time!25

@aerochic42 : my mum took her driving test 9 times before she finally managed to pass! She was 47 by the time she made it. If she can do it, anyone can!5
