My husband wanted ice cream after dinner. I waited in the car and didn't even have a lick !
I need a new belt because a) my current belt is too big, and b) the jeans I just bought are too big!
I just got the hardest exercise program I've ever gotten and I can't wait to try it!!!14 -
I danced at my rowing coach's wedding last night. I don't dance!18

I have lost two inches from my waist in a week. I guess it's true that the cells hold on to the fat for a bit then whoosh! It's gone!
The new jeans I bought, that were slightly too tight but the biggest in the shop (Zara size 16, UK, if anyone's interested) have gone from being slightly too tight to perfectly fitting in a week. I honestly feel amazing, it's quite odd what a positive affect it's had on me!16 -
I feel that I "binged" today, but it consisted of an extra large bowl of fat free yoghurt. Binges have been worse, yes?19

Hosted the best friends gender reveal. I made sausage and cream cheese stuffed jalepenos, sandwiches, a cheese tray, and punch. There was sausage balls, cakes, ice creams, casseroles, chips and dip, and chicken salad wraps, and a veggie tray.
I decided I wasn't gonna think about how much I was eating. Just gonna celebrate my friends day.
Estimated my calories today from yesterday, and while over my main goal, was still in a deficit! Luckily all the hard work preparing the party made me worn out, and I didn't eat nearly as much as I expected!14 -
I bought a pair of white pants, and wore them to a party.25

went to gay pride with like a thousand people milling about with my stomach exposed. I've never been this comfortable in and confident about my body in my life. it feels amazing31

A dress I bought in M because I loved it, and it was on sale, and it was the last one, two years ago, now not only fits but is loose!20

I went out to eat tonight with the kids. Saved calories all day for it, logged my items in advance. Had the most amazing salad with nuts and chicken, half the dressing (asked for it on the side.) even had a beer. Skipped dessert, too full. Didn't go over my calorie goal.
Happy. Had fun.27 -
I haven't worn a bathing suit for probably 12 years and have been avoiding them because of my weight even though I love to swim. For fun today I tried one on at the store and it wasn't as bad as I was expecting. I've lost 60 pounds since October but I still have 60 or so more to go and am too chicken to actually buy one and wear it outside yet. But this will keep me motivated to keep pushing because I really want to swim!!!

I think you're beautiful, and you're rocking that suit!! While I do understand we all have our own comfort levels and goals, if it was me, I'd go ahead and get it; you're stunning! Congrats on a successful journey!13 -

After years of low cal dieting, I started a higher calorie + progressive lifting program last week. Noticed my tight jeans were loose yesterday. Today, after my husband and I "spent time" together, he was like... "Hey... you're body is changing!" Sweet!10

My husband said that I lost my tummy today. First time he's noticed anything, 14kg down. Tummy has JUST shifted in the last week after doing Leslie sansone YouTube recently.10

Yeah, you look great. If you go swimming now, surely some man is going to try to talk to you.

Inches lost in 2 weeks:
Bust 1"
Waist .75"
Love handles 1"
Hips .25"
I am beyond ecstatic with this! I thought those huge drops were beyond me (5'6" & 154lbs last Thursday, GW 140lbs). Explains why so many of my old clothes suddenly fit me.
This weightlifting thing is no joke! (Using Strong Curves beginner program) I'm shaped completely differently than other times I've been around 155lbs. And I'm so happy that my booty is almost holding steady in measurements while the rest of me is shrinking away13 -
This is a first -- Over 11,000 steps done by 10 AM today!24

I am really grateful for this thread, especially on Mondays. All of you inspire to keep going, and to keep trying new things.
NSV - Really wanted to buy a pint of gelato while grocery shopping yesterday, but I knew if I did, I would eat more than my share and go over my calories (it's a weakness, I'm working on it). Luckily, one of the brands had small, single serve portions - bought one for me and one for hubby and mine is STILL IN THE FREEZER! I'll have it when I really, really, really have the craving for it and not just because it's there.18 -
What @LuckyNumbers said... this thread is awesome!! I read it every day.4

Like the poster above, I got in a bathing suit for the first time in YEARS this weekend. I didn't walk around with it on, but I did get in the water. I still have 30-40 pounds to go, but it was a win for me. And no...I didn't eat those chips. But my cup is full of beer.

Aaah the under the bra back fat roll. I had to post a reply to yours because my NSV is that my bras totally don't fit...too big. I've lost 23 pounds and have been too lazy to get new ones (I plan to loose more so I don't want to buy new bras every 10 pounds lost) but this was ridiculous. So, bought 2 new today and got measured...down from a 42 to 38...amen for NSV's when a kind elderly woman is measuring your chest.15 -
More stamina. better agility, and less knee pain running around on court.10

Girl- just do it. I got in a suit for the first time in years this weekend and swam. I still have 40 pounds to lose. But... at a certain time you just have to embrace it. Plus, you look stunning.

My most recent NSV was fitting into a pair of pants that had not fit in a couple of years8

I took second place in my local mud/obstacle run. There were 88 runners in the competitive heat. 5k and 31 obstacles.22

Just got back from doing the Tahoe Tough Mudder. I'm super sore but I finished it and tried all but two of the obstacles available for a first timer. One of which needed lots of teamwork and myself and my buddy couldn't do alone so we skipped it as no one else was doing it at that point either. We are the two oldest on our team and we crushed it! I ended up logging 34k steps and 15 miles at 7000+ ft elevation that day. The air was thin for someone coming from sea level.
It was tough but fun and the group I went with all finished and look forward to doing it again.20 -
My family went to the Keg to celebrate my brothers graduation from uni. I managed to stay under calories because I planned around it and didn't eat much earlier.
I also went for a three hour walk, and while I was out I passed by a full length mirror, and I thought I didn't look super fat, just tall. Cool.11
