Rode 17.5 miles yesterday, after riding 10 the day before. Ride is great way there, obviously not so easy way back...with one killer hill that I made it up. I'm not the fasted but no stopping and walking the bike at least And, I even adjusted my brakes and handlebars myself...normally would ask husband because I'm never confident about those things. Thought I'd be super sore today but I'm not. If the rain holds out or gets out of the way, I'm going again! Also, got some shirts on 99 cent day at Goodwill, they all fit me in the hips, which was always a problem on shirts that were supposed to be long and flowing. And size 14 shorts were a little tight but manageable. Just have to wear them with my flowing shirts! All in all, a great day.:happy:3

nice work soccer mom!0

Earlier this year I'd bought a bikini for inspiration and motivation. The other day I was talking to my ex -husband about the vacation my husband and I have planned and made a comment that I needed to find my old bathing suit when I got home and he said, "Why don't you just wear your bikini? You've lost enough, you're in shape for it." Of course I'm not going to, but it was nice to hear.4

I survived another week of C25K, and now can run for 5mins without dying.

The other day my sister hugged me and told me I felt skinnier.1

We have to wear button down uniform shirts at work. And today I was able to wear a XL comfortably, instead of a XXL!3

Someone has a picture of brightly colored veggies and fruits on her ticker, and I saw it, and felt my eyes light up, and my mouth start watering.

My regular tone class was changed to a fat burn class today. I bit the bullet and stayed and even did pushups..................I have never been able to do pushups before :-D4

I went shopping for jeans today and unbelievably fit into a size 6!!! It's crazy! I used to wear a size 16/18. I never ever imagined wearing a single digit size. My goal was only to get to size 12. Though I've not reached my goal, I've surpassed my own expectations by far. I'm so happy!8

Love reading these! I had 3 in the last week! My dad told me the other day that he could tell I've lost weight because my arms are more toned! Also a friend of my fiance's who isn't one to throw out compliments told me "you're looking good, toning up!" and even my EX-HUSBAND said as he came today to get our son for the weekend "are you losing weight? You look good." HA, take THAT ex-husband!
ha ha Thanks for the laugh. I completely understand. Mine is generally a nice person but could be a jerk about my weight when we were together.1 -
Today I wore 92 (36 inch) regular trousers when only 2 years ago I was wearing 112 (42 inch) stretch waist pants as hipsters.1

Medium size underwear.2

I bought a workout costume, hung it on the back of my closet door. It has been laughing at me for the last two years. I try it on every month or two. It fit well enough to wear in public yesterday!!:happy:6

1# Wore the crazy black and neon yellow plaid-like skinny pants Tripp brand I found a couple years ago without a muffin top. They were actually lose
2# when I put on a TikiBarTv t-shirt I previously wore with them it came down to my knees. LOL.
3# the "girl's" finally stick out further than my mid section.1 -
Tried on some hand me down clothes this morning, mostly size M, but some size S. And who would think it, but they almost all fit! Even some of the size smalls, AND it didn't look like I was trying to stuff myself into it...such great Monday morning motivation after a party filled weekend. Especially since I have been wearing size L - XL, they've been big, but I don't think I ever would have even thought to try on a S or M if I was on my own in a store...4

Today at the gym the girl who checks everyone in asked where I was yesterday and why I wasn't there! Haha. I guess I'm a regular now. It's a busy gym too!4

Dr. took me off both cholesterol and blood pressure medicines today! Coupled with knowledge of losing 5 lbs since last visit.. made for an awesome morning!7

Did day 1 of 30DS yesterday... Not only can I still walk today, I made it through teaching my 2 burlesque classes, leading warm-ups and running group acts for our troupe rehearsal this evening.
The last time I started 30DS, my knees and leg muscles hurt so bad, I spent two days in bed hopped up on pain meds. :P2 -
Ran a mile straight with no walk breaks. Funny thing was it only took 10 seconds off my last time but felt a whole heck of a lot better. Been grinning ever since. :happy:3

I got called chubby from my husband, well my pre-weight loss self did.
We were talking about a friend who wants to loose weight and he said "It was ok when you were chubby, but now she'll just be too sensitive if you talk to her about it." He had never said anything about my amount of fat before and I didn't really consider myself chubby so it was a slight shock. But hey its a good change to not be chubby.
Next goal getting someone to comment on how unfit I USED to be .3 -
Today I put on a belt that hasn't even nearly fit me in 5 years. I closed it in the second last hole. That felt so damn good.2

Spent last night sewing buttons back onto trousers. I'd previously popped them off with my fat belly but they all fit again now3

Tonight during my strength training, I had to stop 3 times in the middle of reps to tie my shorts on tighter. Finally got the shorts to stay on, then my bra strap was sliding down my shoulder. I am definitely losing some inches somewhere!2

Just started running again a few weeks ago. Started the year unable to walk unaided. Lost the stick in April. Started running (walking/struggling) July 26th. Got my 3 mile time below 30 minutes on Aug 7th. Looking now to get and keep below 28mins.10

When I went shopping the other day I saw a reflection of myself and realised that my beautiful-hide-all-the-fat-/-muffin-top shirt that's a UK size 16 was far too big and baggy!! That's my first throw away of clothing for being too big this year!
I wore a pair of old jeans yesterday for tidying / cleaning and I can take my jeans off without undoing them!! These are the jeans I bought in desperation last summer as they were the only ones I could find in the whole of my local shopping areas that fitted.
Sitting here procrastinating and putting off the inevitable 30 day shred day 13, I have noticed that my feet and ankles look thinner. Do feet lose weight?!!?!5 -
Riding 12miles on my bike before work and not even thinking about it. Feeling awesome at the end of it.
Clothes feeling looser and a great feeling of energy...1 -
We have a local amusement park near our home. The last time we went my husband couldnt go on any rides and I had a hard time buckling my seat belts on most of them. My son was so embarrassed. This past weekend both my husband and I went on any and every ride we wanted too. We had SOOooo much fun as a family.1

Warning - TMI for the fellas. lol.
I had to buy a smaller bra size!!!
The sales girl tried to tell me I was a 36-C (haven't been a C cup since 10th grade, lol.)
34-D!!!
Also, my jeans are too big straight from the dryer!1 -
So I will try and make a long story shorter.
I shop at Target...well...too much haha. Anyway, I shop there but I can never get any pants. They always fit weird, and when they do fit the length is the only part that is good (im in between short and average short pants are too short and regulars are too long). I have bought a few pants there because the length fits well, but they always are a size I am ashamed of. I feel like its always like 3 sizes larger waist size than I have at other stores. Anyhow, I get the pants that fit (for the most part) best, and disregaurd the size because no point on dwelling on it.
WELL----> Recently I just went shopping for jeans, I am not fitting right into all my jeans and I cant find a store that I fit well in the jeans. I went back to Target thought Ill try them on just to see if by chance something looks alright.
They fit like a glove. Super perfect in all the right places. Got so many compliments. Was super happy! and the size...well lets just say.... I have not been in a single digit size since high school. Yep. NSV4 -
Scale has been slow moving, but my clothes keep getting bigger and bigger and I am having to buy smaller clothes. :-)3
