Two things this week 1) I wore a skirt that I love and the last few times I've worn it I've had to unbutton it at the top by the end of the day cause it was making me feel sick. Not this week!
And 2) just used my skulpt to measure bf % and I'm down 4% since I last measure at end of April14 -
-size 10 (uk) skinny jeans
-stomach is almost flat this morning
-still loving the weights section of the gym13 -
Taking a language course right now and some of the students brought in munchies for a 'party' during our 20 break - pringles, pop, candies... I gave it a pass and went for my normal 15 minute walking during the break and joined the party for the last five minutes! Didn't munch a thing!!.17

Had to get up early this morning for my usual 10-mile cycle ride, so up at 5.30am. Started my ride and I swear that a rain cloud followed me all of the way round; everywhere else was dry, the sun was shining, the sky was blue apart from the bit above me which was black. I got wet but instead of going home, I carried on and knocked 5 minutes off my usual time24

Ok, this is scales related but it's so much more. After 1 year and about 3 months I hit my goal weight. I'm officially in maintenance!47

Size 16 pants today and yesterday!17

Weighing my food has become such a habit that I was really disappointed when the battery in my scale expired, and so happy that hubby found a new one!9

My NSV today is that I stepped on the scale, and found that for the second week in a row, it had not budged (mostly my own fault, I've been slacking a bit). I then decided to make myself a healthy breakfast and pack some healthy snacks to take to work today, despite feeling like a failure for my slip-ups all week.
Some days it can be so tempting to throw it all out the window and say screw it, i'm not making progress, but I really am. Two big achievements for me right now, I make sure that I eat a reasonably healthy protein and some serving of fruit or vegetables with every meal, and I've cut my soda addiction/consumption from a 32-46oz soda once or twice a day, down to 6-12oz of soda once or twice a week. And one and a half months in, i'm still doing it!22 -

Maybe not technically a NSV but I just made it over the line from obese to overweight. It feels pretty good!51

Yeah, that does feel good! I got just over the line last week, bounced back up again, slid under, bounced up... Currently under it again and hoping to stay there this time!8 -
Went to Costco last night and saw really cute fall jackets. I didn't used to be able to fit Costco clothes, because their XL or XXL was always too small for me, but now I can wear regular clothes so thought I'd give it a try. Another woman was looking at them too. She picked up medium. I thought, she's going need a small for sure, as I picked up another medium to try on. We both put them on, turned around and looked each other, and it fit both of us perfectly. I still feel so fat, but I think I'm kinda not fat anymore!32

Today is fifty days of tracking in a row. I celebrated by going for a 6 km jog this morning. It was glorious.23

I can feel my tight muscles now. I keep touching them while walking around my house.17
-
Splurged on a snack but logged it honestly and managed the rest of my day to still be under for the day.20

Was given a piece of strawberry-rhubarb pie....which is my fave. I wrapped it up, saved it for the next day, so I could work it into my calories. Before, I would have scarfed it up immediately, calories be damned!!!19

Size 6 formal dresses fit absolutely Perfect. Thought it was just a "fluke" when all the dresses at David's Bridal worked out but had the same "luck" at Macy's today so I'll take it!14

I can see that V shaped notch at the base of my throat, and my collarbone is starting to show. Yay!15

My NSV today was having the ankle straps on a very old pair of heels be too big even at the smallest setting. Now the real question is: are ankle straps even "in" anymore? Haha, so fashionably challenged!

Costco is relatively new to Australia, so I am unfamiliar with its sizing. In desperate need of a winter coat I found a cute pink and grey one, but unsure of the size required my Dad passed me one. It fitted perfectly. Taking it off I looked at the label and it said Sm/Ch - I thought that meant "small chunky". Turns out its Small Child!! We laughed. I am 4221

Popped into a shop to get se t shirts for my fiancé for our honeymoon in August. As some of my clothes were getting a bit baggy, I scoured the sale rails for some bargains. Picked up two pairs of possible trousers for work but I wasn't optimistic they would fit as the shop (Topshop) sizing always felt like it ran small.
I took those into the changing rooms and oh my. They fit! No shimmying, just an easy slip on and button! I was going to buy them just because how easy they did up but they also looked GOOD!
I have never been a comfortable size 10 (UK) in my adult life, let alone in Topshop of all places!16 -

This is awesome- you go small child7 -
Wearing a belt with my jeans was not optional for the first time last week.12

I talked hubby out of taking me to an "all you can eat" seafood buffet for an anniversary dinner even though that sounds great. I know that would have been too much temptation to overeat.20

Put on a shirt from 10 years ago (that was tight then) and it fits comfortably...even a bit loose. Size L, I was wearing XXL in the spring. I may have to break down and buy some new clothes before fall!!!15
-
I now fit comfortably in size 12 pants/dresses, and S to M tops. Started 10 months ago in size 24 pants and 2XL tops.26

Love waking up and feeling how firm and snug my lower body feels after my workout the day before.16

This is not exactly a non-scale victory, but it's an MFP non-scale cause-of-happiness:
I've been here just less than a year, which is long enough to be seeing delightfully many MFP friends who started our at "ooo, this is hard, how do I do this? can I?" now reaching "20 pounds down", "stronger than I've ever been", "now a runner", "at my goal weight", and more.
It's so much fun to see others find their successful path, transform themselves, and gain self-confidence - amazing and inspiring!54 -
1. Put on my swimsuit from last year. It is now too big.
2. Had to put yet another piece of tape in the thumb hole of my bowling ball to keep it from slipping off my fingers. I'm up to six pieces of tape in there. I think it's time to get the damn balls re-drilled.14 -
Last night I was out for a walk with my daughter and did a little jogging. I apologized to her for being so slow, and she said, "You're not slow, you have to quit telling yourself that." I said back to her that I was indeed very slow (I really am). She said to me, "You're not slow (...pause...) for someone that's had four children." The NSV in all of that? When I first started jogging, she happily told me how slow I was, and demonstrated it by keeping up with my jogging while she walked backwards. So at least I've gotten faster; she can't keep up with me while walking backwards anymore.29
