This doesn't sound like much, but I was able to carry my instrument from my car to the music room without putting it down or switching hands.
Keep in mind my baritone saxophone is 5 ft long and about 45 pounds in the case, and I had a backpack and folder in my hands. I was happy.

On the contrary, things like this are HUGE victories!

I was driving the other day and my leg felt a bit itchy, do I reached down to scratch it and had a millisecond of discomfort at feeling an unfamiliar contour on my leg. It was muscle!

For years I've used my hip to prop my trunk open when I've got something in my hands and need to adjust my hand hold. Imagine my surprise when I popped a hip and the lid closed without making contact with it.

Keep up the good work, everyone! Every victory is awesome, no matter how small.

My favorite SIL has always been miles and miles smaller than me (I'm about 5 inches taller, but still- MILES!)- I now wear the same size jeans as her (27") and am working my way down to hopefully a 25-26. I find it wild that I'm the same size as her now! We're planning on twinning when we get together in August. Now if only she wouldn't always have the better boobs lol

I havent had chocolate for four months. Once I start I can't stop. Plan to have some in August when it's my birthday

I'm going to have to get my bowling balls re-drilled because now the holes are too big. I currently have about 5 pieces of tape in the thumbhole, LOL.

I once played tenor sax. I'm impressed.

Had a goal that when I hit 80lbs down I would join a real boxing gym...although I'm still 2lbs from that goal, tonight was my first strength and conditioning class. I did the whole class and was able to keep up no problem.

I even had two of the coaches ask me if I had boxed previously.

Down to size 38 pants, and happy with how they look! Can't remember the last time I bought anything below a size 40 (or larger)!

Realized this week I was finally able to comfortably lay on my stomach again. Been years!

Also the scale is stuck at 20 lbs loss the past week but my clothes are getting bigger, my underwear are loose and I went down another notch in my belt!

so yesterday, i spend 2 hours at the gym. A couple of months ago I was afraid to even walk by the gym's door! it's such a dumb thing to be proud of but i am, lol

Before if I had trouble sticking to my calories for a small amount of time (ie getting sick, travelling, etc) I would get totally unfocused and gain weight back and have to start over later. This time I'm going strong, just letting my new habits take over again without letting a few days throw me off!

I like that my colleagues don't comment on my weight loss and we focus instead on talking about workout achievements, goals, ambitions etc.

After 8 years of international work travel and thousands of hotels, I finally built up the courage last evening to go to the hotel gym.
I was nervous, truthfully. And i stayed nervous but acted as if i belonged there, fat *kitten* or none.

Fake it 'til you make it!

Almost time now for me to head off there again shortly. Feeling quite SMUG!

my wedding ring fell right off my finger last week. I had just washed my hands, and was shaking them dry. It just missed rolling under a huge filing cabinet.

So today, I am wearing my engagement ring to hold it in place as it is a size and a half smaller, but even that is now spinning around my finger! I think I will get a fake ring in the mean time before I am ready to re-size!

Went clothes shopping. Three out of four pants THREE WHOLE SIZES smaller fit.

Thanks. It still makes me grin every time I think about it. But, real runners would laugh at a 36-minute 5K. Next year, my goal is to make it in 30 minutes or less. It won't be the same daughter. She aged out this year. It will be my youngest, who wanted to do it with us this year, but was too young.
