I smashed W4D1 of the C25K this morning - 5 mins of straight running before a walk break is the longest I've probably run in my adult life.
Score.1 -
I know I have literally just posted, but a work mate has just said that he can tell I've lost weight. Wooop!!2

Score.
NICE! I remember when you get to weeks 4, 5, 6...and you're like WTF I CAN'T RUN THAT LONG! And then... you're doing it.
Amazing how fast our bodies can improve/adjust. Keep it up!2 -
I get up early before work and work out without a second thought. I also didn't work out yesterday and had pizza and didn' shame myself or feel guitly because today is a new day and pizza is okay on occassion.2

I just did a BOD POD today (measures body fat and is extremely accurate) and I've gained weight - fat free mass (muscles, etc.) and lost fat mass! Woot woot! I'm down 1.7% body fat in a month and a half!2
-
Hit 150 day streak today and had to move to the last hole on my belt - 6" off my waist so far. WhooHoo!3

Purchased jeans in a size 7/8...that fit! Haven't done that since 5th grade!1

Stood with my feet together and correct posture and noticed an actual thigh gap! I wasn't aware my legs could do that...2

You'll do fine, joining is a big, great step; once you get past those initial nerves of going the first few times and settle into a routine, you'll probably feel a lot more comfortable. And then you'll feel fantastic when you start seeing results.
I randomly turned and saw myself side-on in a mirror today and I noticed that I finally have visible cheekbones! I create the appearance with make-up usually but my face-fat has always hid them an awful lot. I was super excited when I remembered I wasn't even wearing make-up, they're just more noticeable now.0 -
I have been making great progress for the last 6 months, and I decided to buy new work pants and jeans. The store clerk suggested that I try a waist size that was 4 inches less than what I was expecting to try. I was surprised that the clerk was right about the size2

I finally achieved my days of exercise this week. .....after a month, month n a half of not doing some actual exercise. :blushing:2

Three sets of 30 walking lunges touching knee to floor on every one!!!!!0

I have two for this week:
#1 was looking in the mirror and realized I'm starting to get definition in my arms (which may account for the fact that for the first time in my life I can do a proper pushup. Just one but I'm okay with that)
#2 is that while doing ab work on the gym floor, I realized I now need to use a mat. So.....yay for less back-fat padding?2 -
I finally (after 7 months and 50lbs down) had enough calories left in the day for my all time favorite desert, which comes in packs of 2. I have been eyeing it in the supermarket for so long.
In my pre-MFP days, I used to easily eat 3 packs (ie 6 deserts) in one sitting. I bought a pack; pre-logged both and began eating.
The first mouthful was heaven. I was eating so slowly and really savoring the flavors and textures. After a few mouthfuls, I was surprised at how rich and sweet it was. I didn't remember it being that strong. Yet still I enjoyed it so much, and admit that I was literally scraping the bottom with my spoon.
Time for the second one.
Then I realised as much as I really enjoyed it, I didn't want another one. It was just too sweet. I spent the remaining calories on something much more savoury.
So now the second one is sitting in the fridge.
I didn't think I would ever chose not to eat one.
I didn't think I would ever have the will power to have one sitting in my fridge and not be tempted to eat it. never. like, really - never.6 -
today i wore shorts that were size L and a shirt that also was a size L1

Today I jogged 2 miles without stopping for the first time in my entire life. Even better is that it was outside in the rain. So proud of how far I've come, what a wonderful accomplishment2

I noticed that the jeans I am wearing today are baggy and I need a belt to keep them up when I am walking. I used to have to suck in to button them when I first put them on and have a muffin top.

I attended a Christmas banquet for work. There was dessert sitting on the table. I did not touch any. I was soooo happy that i am now able to say no to dessert. I am in control of what i eat2

Time for a new belt! I'm on the last notch on my "skinny belt'" the one I bought about halfway through this weight loss project, back in May.0
-
I was having a hard time keeping my pants up at work all week. Weighed in this morning and had a 4.5 lb loss since Monday. Obviously I didn't lose that much fat over a week but hell, it made my day.2

I had to buy a dress for a semi-formal holiday party and was able to find a cute figure hugging knee length dress in a size 14\XL from the lady's rack, and not the plus rack that hides all the right areas and fits me like a glove. In the beginning of my journey I was in a 16W.1

Realized I was officially out of plus sized clothes and happily unsubscribed from lane Bryant, Ashleys, and Torrid emails.3
