Cooking soup today and my scale broke, did not finish cooking until I went to the store to buy another. Logging every bite for 175 days now (except Thanksgiving) and do not want to break the streak.2

I deadlifted 1x5 at 205 lbs today, whoohoo!!!3

I have one, I have one! I'm staying at a hotel, and just realised that the normal sized towels wrap around my body, without showing the world everything! (I normally use a massive bath sheet that is very good at not showing the world my everything!)
OMG, this is so funny. Congrats!!!0 -

Last week I had to attend a gala prize giving function at the last minute. Rushed out and bought myself a great dress and heels to match! First time in probably 10 years I have shopped for a proper dress and heels. The evening was such a high, felt like I was on something. Was showered with compliments the whole evening, which made me forget about how sore my feet were the next day lol.3

Made a nutella and banana toaster for the boyfriend. Didn't lick nutella off the knife.4

I got on the treadmill at the gym because it was starting to rain outside. I have never actually been on this treadmill. Heck, I do not remember the last time I was on any treadmill. So I started with the "fitness test" program: level one was too easy by far so I kept bumping up the speed. It is supposed to be rainy for the next couple of days, so I figure I will try again at different levels.2

This is from a few days ago but I just remembered it after reading some of the "sugar is evil" threads lol. I was in CVS and saw those big pouch/bags of mint M&M's. I love those. I can eat a whole pouch in an hour and a half and not feel bad. I took one off the shelf, looked at the nutrition label...and put it back. Didn't buy it. I want them now that I'm thinking about them and if held up in front of me I'd probably tear them from your hands like a starving dog. I'll have some water and go to bed instead.3

i just fit into a pair of high-waisted jeans that were too tight before and gave me a not so flattering cameltoe lol
now they fit comfortably and actually look cute!

I just tried on a pair of pants that were too small for years. I could not zip them. This morning I am able to zip them. Still too tight for my liking, but will not be too tight soon1

I have 2 today..
First was lunch! I had cream cheese and crackers with humous (YUM). I was overly stingy with the first couple of crackers that I had, which resulted in a LOAD of humous left over. Rather than slathering the final cracker with the remaining humous, I only took what I needed! I am OK with leftovers!
My second one is literally a NSV.. I have officially survived the No-Scales-November challenge. I have not weighed myself since 5th November which will be exactly 4 weeks tomorrow. Can't wait to jump on the scales in the morning! EEEP!And I will weigh myself weekly from now on.

I fit into a pair of leather pants I got my Freshman year of high school. Granted they are high waisted and when I sit I feel like I'm going to die, BUT I can get them buttoned and zipped. If I stand all day in them I should be okay! lol3

My latest NSV was this past Sunday where I flopped out of the swimming pool in usual ungraceful fashion (but it's a lot easier now that I am lighter and stronger). Now, I did not want to raise myself up on my knees because of persistent bursitis, so I lay there trying to figure out how to sit up, and I naturally went in to Downward Facing Dog! Thanks Yoga! My muscles have new tricks! Up I went with no problems and no pain.
A modestly overweight woman flopping out of a pool and getting up by posting her butt in the air must have been spectacular in it's own way.....5 -

How on earth did you manage that? I commend your will power it's much higher than mine.
Haha well everyone I was out with was saying there was no way I'd be able to resist it after a night on the beer so I think it was more stubbornness than willpower!5 -
at work my boss ordered sweatshirts for employees and customers. About five years ago in a former job, I remember being one of a few people on the XXL (men's sizes) list and feeling thrilled I was not on the XXXL. This time I was one of just a handful of people on the L list, most were on XL and XXL+...and I know that I probably could have fit into a M but L was the smallest size available for our order. Feels great!1

I was able to button the collar on one of my workshirts!
Being able to wear ties again is coming in the near future!1 -
Today I am wearing the new skirt I bought hoping it could fit in it by Christmas!0

I tried on a cute black wrap dress that has been in my closet for years. I am now able to fit it. Hoooooraaaaaaay0

I had an impromptu meeting come into my office. I sat back and after 10 minutes realized I had my legs crossed at the knees. And it wasn't uncomfortable or awkward.1

Yesterday, after my second aqua bootcamp workout, I noticed I wasn't limping on my healing broken leg any more.
Also, the last time I was a size 4 was after a 12 day hospital stay 10 years ago, when I lost 10 pounds. I'm at the pre-hospital stay weight now and at the same size 4.0 -
Did my favourite walk in The Lake District (UK) at Easter. The first part normally takes about 1h40mins with at least two stops because it's so steep and I am so out of breath, I'm also usually shattered half way round the walk back. This year I did the first part in 38 mins with no stops at all and completed the rest of the walk with energy to spare. I was a very happy lady indeed that day.
Oooh, what walk is it? I climbed Fairfield and High Peak in Grasmere back in September and was so pleased with myself...

Being able to carry 2 gallons of milk through out the store (with ease) in one hand. I felt kind of bad *kitten*! hahaha1

In mid-October I dislocated a rib which totally set me back from working out and running (my rib kept slipping out of place after having it re-set by my chiropractor so I had to wait to be cleared to start working out again). Earlier in November I started out small by going for 2 mile walks with some inclines. This week I finally felt up to hitting the treadmill and restarting my Couch to 5K program. I managed to do the 60 second intervals at 6 mph and not feel completely exhausted after each interval. I completed the 30 minute exercise and followed it with 30 sit-ups. I've never been a runner so this totally excited me0

A co-worker asked me today if I had lost weight! Yeah baby!0

I had someone tell me today what an inspiration I have been to them, and the reason they started on their own weight loss journey was because they have seen how successful I have been. In the past 2 months, they have lost 10 pounds, and even when things have been hard for them, they keep going because they want to have the same type of success I have had.
It's not the first time I have had someone tell me how inspiring I have been since starting this journey, but I still just can't get used to the idea of me being an inspiration to others. I always tell them "thank you" but feel a bit at odds about if I should say anything else.
Still, it's cool to hear that I have been having that sort of effect on the people around me!1 -
Sitting through a Management meeting today and having no urge to have one1
