Hah! That'd be ace. As it is I am on 12/13 minute miles with achey hips around the 7 mile mark. But is getting there. Just want to do my half marathon and not be picked up by the car to finish lol17 -
I did not eat any of this delicious-looking pecan cake that my coworker brought in today.25

I went for a walk at 3 in the afternoon when it was 89 degrees. Meh. No biggie.20

I had hoped to lift heavier, am still worried that I'll look like a fool lifting so light (compared to others there)... But... It's a start, right?
And there's only one other lady in my weight class, so as long as I hit one of each lift, I'll come out with a solid second place! Haha
The real beauty is that other woman will be finishing next to last!! LOL8 -
I worked 12 hours today, came home and ran a couple of miles before the weather got here. I had to, for myself. It had been way too long since I got in some cardio.22

Yes!! I didn't go on my walk until 6:30 PM so the sun wasn't so glaring but it was still 91 degrees. It's nice not to come home drenched in sweat and panting, and to have the energy that depositing a check in the ATM at the bank branch 4 blocks away was just a nice thing to do after dinner instead of driving there.

Underwear in my drawer that I've been avoiding fit well!24

I’m wearing non-stretchy denim shorts right now. I dug them out from the back of my closet too, instead of just buying a bigger size (which would have been cool too, I’m all about clothes fitting regardless of size)13

Set a new deadlift PB of 80kgs. Pretty big achievement for me since I weigh 74kgs!22

Following up my NSV where I got offered a job, today I had to submit all the necessary paperwork to human resources department, I gave the HR assistant my passport which I renewed about a year ago and when she open it up to check to scan it she did a double take and said " this is not your passport", I replied pretty quickly that I lost weight, she was like " OMG, you looked like you lost 100 pounds, I wouldn't be able to tell that was you".35

I've been training for my first 5k and have noticed that the c25k workouts are much easier for me to complete on a treadmill than outside. For the past few weeks I've resolved to run outside only, going down to different parks as much as possible to get through each prescribed workout. Today I went to the park and realized I didn't have my armband to run with, but the gym was much closer to the park than my house so I went there instead where I could just rest my phone on the treadmill. Rather than just run the workout, knowing I have done it on the treadmill before, I decided to just go for the full 5k. I finished in 39 minutes, including some walking, some full speed running, but mostly (90-95%) steady jogging.
Then I got home and realized that I just did the 5k in my goal time. At the gym, somehow, it didn't "count" because I was working out and it wasn't a race. But I did it! Now I have the rest of the time to work on my speed and keep up my outdoor runs!
Little add-on that just happened, I had given my mom leftovers from the fancy lunch my brother and I took her to for mother's day. We each had four courses, and after the starters and soup I barely touched my entree because I wanted to save room for the dessert. I gave the leftovers to my mom and FORGOT about them until she texted me to say they were delicious. I enjoyed a delicious meal, ate what I wanted, didn't eat what I didn't want, and didn't even remember the excess. Is this mindful eating?! Or at least, a much healthier relationship with food?31 -
Had two NSVs at lunch:
1. Took a dress to the tailor to be taken in; I haven't been able to wear it for years, got too big in the top
2. Got new passport photos taken for my renewal; have lost 40 lb. since the last one was taken! I look way better now.22 -
I wore my pre pregnancy jeans today and they fit perfectly. Also bought another pair of jeans in my pre pregnancy size26

I managed to fit into a skirt I haven't worn in a few years. Today was the first time I wore a skirt to the office since I started there in Jan 17!23

This is not an original one but a variation on an occasional theme here: I recently completed an overseas move that involved me carrying the maximum baggage allowance of 23 kilos/50 pounds to the airport. That's how much I've lost so far, and I could barely pick up the bag. Again, not a new revelation here—I've read several 'I picked up a bag of grain that weight the same as I've lost ...' and 'I picked up a kettlebell ...', etc. posts on these boards, but having that real-life moment of 'I've lost THIS MUCH!?!?!?' was incredibly eye-opening. It also made me really ashamed of myself for where I'd allowed myself to get to just by not paying attention, particularly after coming to understand how simple (but not easy) it is to take the weight off.25

Had a body comp test last week to gauge one month progress after beginning weight training. -3.2%BF, chest +1”, arms +1”, shoulders +.5”, waist -2.3”, hips -2”, quads - same, calves -.5” I swear I’m not skipping leg day.14

1. Braved a dressing room to try on bathing suits.
2. Only brought in suits that are my "new" size to try on.
3. Bought two suits. Both size 8...instead of the 16 I wore last year.40 -
It's only been 2 years, but I FINALLY went running with my daughter using the jogging stroller!27

Did normal cycling route yesterday and my cadence went up to 77.Must get it to between 80 and 90 though. But at least an improvement from 72/73.13

I currently have 16 items of clothing at the tailor getting taken in! Leaves me with 3 outfits I can wear while waiting to collect them! Cheaper than replacing plus I like them!22

I had this realisation when I started running too. I mentioned it to my personal trainer and he said that if you're running on a treadmill, adjust the incline to replicate the difficulty of running on terrain. Believe me, it's much more realistic, and definitely "counts"!14 -

I love this! My passport is soon to expire, and for once I'm really excited about getting a new picture!14 -
My swimming costume needed replacing so on a whimsical whim I tried on the one I have had since 2009 and not been able to even come close to squeezing into.
It fit and feels comfy. Happy happy as that is a 'free' swimming costume as I can't remember buying it! lol
I was asked this morning which club I swam for (I don't) as well as being told I am looking very slim. Excellent morning!!
AND I managed to push a 5kg weight 25m underwater without coming up for air22 -
My 14-year-old saw my drivers license, which is 4 years old, yesterday. “Wow. You looked really... different.”
Yes. It was 60 lbs and a lifetime ago.33 -

I've just managed to get my squat weight to more than I've lost. Squatting 135 lbs and lost 130.

Monday afternoon, one of the trainers at the gym I go to, (whom I've known for several years and who has seen the ups and downs of my weight loss/fitness journey) told me I am looking good and looking lean. Given her expertise and familiarity with my journey, that was a great compliment!22

I can now do full sit-ups, and quite a few before I get tired. I still have to jam my feet under the couch or have someone hold them down. But, it was a challenge to even do one earlier this year. It would be totally badass to do sit-ups without having to hold my feet down! I think that's my next goal. Also still going strong with my 52 weeks of exercise program. There have been weeks I've only managed to get one workout a week. But it's still more then I used to do, and therefor counts!24

I was at work on the elevator yesterday with a coworker from another floor, and a delivery guy gets on with a huge cart, so we smush into a corner to give him space. The elevator gets to my floor and he says "How am I gonna let you guys off". So my coworker says "Don't worry she's tiny, she can squeeze past."
We've known each other since I was at my heaviest so it was absolutely huge hearing that. I thanked her for that amid the giggles.35 -

My son saw my high school year book picture and asked me if I got a face transplant. Ouch. But, yeah I weigh less now than in high school.22 -
Not sure if this is an NSV since it is somewhat based on weight, but I am thinking about a new paddleboard (SUP) and I want a touring model. I was discussing possible choices in a forum and got feedback that "most guys can't go with that size because of the buoyancy" - you need to be well below the weight limit so you can carry stuff and it is still buoyant enough to be stable. When I posted my size and weight, the feedback changed to "that size is fine for you." If I get one that size, it is going to be a major motivator to maintain properly.24
