PMS is raging, but no hormone induced binge eating...went for binge cleaning the past two days instead. Hours of yard work, scrubbing walls, baseboards, and trim must have burned some extra calories and crabbiness. Bonus is house looks so fresh and clean without all the hand/foot marks all over my walls!33

@brittanystebbins95 - those are the cutest dogs!! thanks for sharing pic and info!7

This morning I was able to finally do a dead hang again (it’s been years)! This is a double NSV. I sprained my left shoulder really bad in March and have slowly been rehabing it (I could barely lift my arm above my shoulder for the first month and a half after the injury). I couldn’t do a dead hang BEFORE my injury and now I’m healed up enough and gained enough strength to do it again!!! I’m so excited! I didn’t feel like I had a whole lot of NSVs the first 3 months other than clothes starting to get looser but the last week or two they’ve all started to pile up! Consistency is key! Congrats to everyone celebrating their NSV. I see you!32

Today's NSV is just a reflection of this past year and how thankful I am that I took the initial steps to achieve my goals, one after the other. I am also thankful for all you good people on MFP who have and continue to inspire me daily.39

Also this is a semi scale victory but today's five week prediction showed a number under 200 pounds, and while I know its inaccurate as heck, still! Onederland is in sight!
Oh I’ve been finding it accurate. Everyday after I get the prediction I type it into the notes section under the food dairy. I often flick back five weeks and have a check and it has been spot on quite often and near other times.19 -
I got called “skinny” by two people on separate occasions this morning. And I’m wearing an oversized coat!
I’m down almost 40lbs and just on the cusp of a normal BMI, so I’m definitely not skinny, but the loss is very noticeable in my face now.
Even though I don’t post much, I check in with this community daily. I am thankful for the support and insight I get here. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!31 -
another person asked me "did you lose weight"? she said my face was looker leaner!17

My Thanksgiving NSV: I made my own less-carb sides for Thanksgiving dinner at a friends. Acorn squash and cauliflower mash. Had my turkey and sides, skipped the rest, skipped the wine, and skipped the pies. Too stuffed to move! Last year I woulda eaten all the things and then some. I would’ve snacked all day on chips and crackers. I would’ve been too buzzed to remember much about dinner. Grateful that God has given me the strength to have self-control with a joyful heart!34

Thanksgiving...within calorie deficit...Done!!!31

Pulled out a nice pair of shorts that I wore last summer - but last summer they were quite tight and hard to do up, and not really comfortable if sitting for any length of time. Now they are fantastic and comfy (but still a cut that should fit as I lose a little more - will just sit a little lower, I expect).20

I had a guilt free thanksgiving and ate all the food I wanted. Food anxiety was a big reason I struggled the last time I tried to lose weight, so this is a big win for me, and makes it so much easier for me to get back to normal eating tomorrow.41
-
I wore a skirt!!! and it didn't ride up in front. I've not worn a skirt for over 5 years as it rides up in front and doesn't sit well due to my tummy!29
-
I went to a work networking event last night. Usually this is an excuse for free wine and nibbles. I had a couple of glasses of water then went home to eat something sensible.26
-
I put on a pair of my jeans which are high waisted, they came up to just under my bust.
I don’t feel smaller but things are definitely changing.23 -
Kept it real for Thanksgiving without denying myself or imploding my calorie goal and fully intend to get back into pool at tail end of two hour drive home!17
-
Thoroughly enjoyed my Thanksgiving/birthday yesterday. Ate all the sweets without any guilt. I'm back on track today. That's a HUGE nonscale victory in itself. A year or two ago I would have been so distressed over eating that much. And it probably would have taken me a good week to get back on track. Little steps become big leaps.26

Once upon a time in 2006, I turned 18 and my mom bought me this pretty expensive skirt suit from a high end store for like job interviews and academic things.
A couple years ago I donated the jacket but I couldn't let go of the skirt.
In March I couldn't even pull it up over my thighs.
This morning I pulled it on, zipped it up, and it looked awesome.
I'm crying now. I didn't think it would ever fit again. Part of me always felt like I let mom down by getting so huge I couldn't wear it.
God, I wish I could tell her about it.73 -
Haven’t hit a body weight squat since I injured my hip a year and a half ago and I hit body weight + 7lbs for 3 at the end of my working sets! Felt great and I was able to add some weight to my lunges and step ups today as well. Thank you, Thanksgiving carbs and cheese!27
-
Ran my first 5K race yesterday and my official chip time was 29:41! I was hoping for a sub-30 min 5K but with the crap weather we had I wasn’t hopeful.
This time last year I was running 12 minute miles. My average pace yesterday was 9:34 😄 I haven’t lost a lot of weight this year but I’m really proud of how far I’ve come with my running!39 -
I found old scrub tops that I made 2 years ago in size 2x. I took them apart, cut them down to a size medium and put them back together. My co-workers all think I went out an bought a whole new wardrobe of scrubs.41

I ate until my stomach's content yesterday at Thanksgiving!
But as I was getting dressed to go to the in-laws, my spouse said "You look like you have balls..."
I was biologically born/am still of a female body...
Ha! It's because my underwear is now sagging from losing so much weight!
Gotta get slimmer more flattering undies now!33 -
I bought some new pyjamas. When I came to put them on I realised that the tops and the bottoms were different sizes. The size 10 (UK) bottoms fitted even though they weren't the size I thought I was buying21

Ok so I posted about how last month I finally fit a slim fit woman’s shirt after having to wear the men’s bigger size shirts to accommodate my huge stomach. Well I actually had purchased three slim fit shirts and got one of them was in the next size down which I couldn’t fit yet.
So yesterday I tried it on and it fit so I went and bought another two in the next size but one in the next size down after that as well so I can see my progress in a month or two! I do have a tape measure but it is so much better than a tape measure because I can visually see progress with the shirt I wasn’t that slim a month back!
Oh and about how I posted about the occasional uniform that work wanted us in but I didn’t fit it for those events so they would make me work in the back where clients can’t see me. The manager saw me with the uniform on and sent me to the back room while not acknowledging the uniform. 🤷🏼♀️ So IDK that seemed bitchy.
I also had a massive clean out of my wardrobe and drawers yesterday and everything that was a size XL or size 24, 22 or 20 or too big on me got taken to the clothing donation box. Never fitting those sizes again!30 -
After months of walking on the treadmill, at increasing speed and incline, I jogged for 10 minutes non stop today. I was sure I wouldn't last more than 5 minutes, maybe only 2 or 3 minutes even, it's nice to be wrong.
And things just got even better!
Only my 2nd session of C25K today and I was feeling good so I jogged for another 30 minutes non-stop after that.
Very slowly and 0 incline, but still, I surprised myself!28 -
Being able to run for 45 minutes and feeling good about it later.34
-
99th parkrun completed this morning.
Never thought I'd say that. "Run" and "completed" in the same sentence.39 -
Another one.
My current jeans are a little too big. Still wearable but I’ll need a smaller size soon.
I was at a local non-chain owned thrift store today and found several high quality jeans of the same brand, all 10’s. $6 & $5. (UNHEARD of in my area, Goodwill upcharges $10-$15+ for used jeans where I live. Often you can see that the item has a target clearance tag and the thrift store is charging more than targets tag which is still attached to the garment)
I bought 4 pair, 2 of them flannel lined. Perfect for the bitter cold months coming up.
I am SO proud of myself for buying jeans knowing I’m so close to them fitting (that was a rule I had for a long time, no more buying things because I want them to fit “someday”)
And the $ I saved feels so nice. My total spending today is equal to a single pair of fast fashion jeans I almost bought last weekend because of the before mentioned too large jeans I currently have.
Now I’m SO motivated to smash out workouts and watch these jeans fit marvelously.
Tried the jeans on again today.
All but one fit!! I’m not confident with the look of them to wear them out in public, but another month or so should do the trick29 -
So, I got this treadmill desk to improve my winter NEAT and to help me stay warm in winter as an option to use instead of my space heater...
I just got my November gas and electric bill and it's down $60 for this month over the usual. My weight probably dropped 5 pounds while I was saving that $60 in heating expenses, too.33 -

That's actually a great idea. I should get one of those mini bike pedals for under my desk at work so I can stay warmer!12 -
Tried on a non-plus-sized Michael Kors ladies down jacket this weekend. It was an XL. It fit a bit snug but zippered right up. I didn't buy it because I live in Florida. But... I see non-plus-sized clothing in my immediate future!34
