This is definitely a scale victory, but it's significant so I'm sharing anyway. This morning, I reached the 75 lbs lost mark. I have never reached this point on any weight loss attempt. My middle number also changed, and I haven't seen this "decade" since around the time I graduated from high school 25 years ago.31

After a few months long haitus to calorie counting and working out, I got on the bandwagon again to avoid gaining back everything I lost. In doing so, I also got my husband to download MFP and start couting his calories too!25

I like to take before & after photos to note the differences. Seeing my comparison photo this morning made me realize how far I’ve come!! I used to wear a 3/4X & now wear a small/medium. I also could barely walk down the street or up the stairs & now exercise 6 out of 7 days of the week!! 💖💪💕
Wow and super YAY YOU...these pics makes me smile from ear to ear, I'm SO HAPPY for you!10 -

I'm a teacher. Today's the first day back to school for students so I've not seen them in close to 3 weeks. No less than six students said I look thinner.39

I did my first ever park run this past Saturday whilst on holiday with friends, after a week filled with hiking at least 5-10km every day, and was able to beat out most of our group of friends, most of them on 50 or more parkruns already. (Admittedly, this was not their home run and was a lot steeper and more mountainy than what they are used to)
It was a lot of fun, and both myself and my boyfriend have agreed that we will try to do the park runs in our area as often as possible this year.22 -
While chitchatting with some folks today, I listened to several ambitious resolutions for the new year, then realized I had nothing to contribute back to the conversation. That's my NSV - turns out, I've started a year happy with my current processes.
Life isn't perfect, mind you! But it is currently heading in the right direction40 -
I did 2 minutes of bicycle crunches without stopping or slowing down. I used to get about 15 seconds in and just fall apart haha.27

I've lowered my blood sugar over 100 points without medication. I'm still a bit over where I'd like to be, but I'm within striking distance of normal.34

I realized I needed to lose some weight when I wore a pair of pants and a button popped off and the crotch seam popped open in the same day (I had to buy a small sewing kit form an airport shop and sew them up in a bathroom stall). My NSV is that I wore those pants again for the first time since I started with MFP and they are now a little too big.41

I decided I wasn't going to pre-plan what I ate today and I also wasn't going to log as I went because I was curious to see what would happen. I ate like I normally do and went about my daily routine. About an hour ago, I logged my food and my activity to find my intake was only one calorie higher than my daily intake goal ... before the calories burnt from exercise would be taken into account!22

I LOVE this. I've never been a 'start on the big date/resolution' kind of person; I'd rather start a new thing on a Thursday than a Monday, and don't want my first half-marathon to be run a year my age ends in 0 or 5. So glad for you, @martianspuds , that life is trending well and well in hand!
My NSV is that I've reinstated my lunchtime walks. I live only a 7 minute walk from my office (not complaining!!) which means that my TDEE has dropped in this role. But I know plenty of ways to walk for 30 minutes and have been out every work day for the past few weeks. It makes such a difference!17 -
I just had a meeting in a room that had a plate of really great-smelling cookies on the table. I successfully kept my hands off it and didn't eat any.29

short story: my mood has improved tremendously!
longer story:my 3 month before and after photos do show some physical changes but the most shocking thing to me is my face in these pictures. You can tell I was miserable-ish in the before photo and now I look at myself with love because I've been taking care of my body better.30 -
Wednesday's normal routine is gym and then Aquarobics.
This morning was tough. Really tough after the Christmas shut down; but I powered through and did it anyway and now I feel fabulous *grins*20 -
Having other people in the office ask me what my "left overs" are then mention that it smells and looks awesome to the point they want to try some...
...And it's super healthy hahaha!18 -
Apparently due to my pregnancy, I am completely turned off by sweets. I find myself curling my lip in disgust at things I used to pine for. I simply don't want them nor have any interest in them. Even took a bite of my favorite chocolate the other day, spit it back out, and nearly dry heaved.
Thank you, baby! Lmao23 -

Shopping in my YOUNG and SKINNY daughter's closet or you reap what you sow...
WOW! My daughters came over a couple of weeks or so ago and went "shopping" in my closet and actually took so much stuff (that's CUTE and I can fit) that it wonderfully and unexpectedly super "de-cluttered/slimmed down" my closet big time. WELL...one of my daughter just dropped by with a big bag of WOW. She decluttered her closet to make room for all the stuff I gave her. This bag is filled with THE CUTEST tops, beautiful and cool scarves and really cool/hip sunglasses, earrings, a couple of fashionable and CUTE watches and a leather motorcycle jacket--ALL size small, ALL I can fit. Such a pleasant and uber welcomed ultra surprise. Wow and YAY, and of course, BOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!28 -
One NSV I didn't count on was better sleep. Now that I've been exercising faithfully for a month, I sleep less fitfully and wake up more refreshed. Who knew? (everyone probably, ha ha) It sure helps to tackle your day not feeling so groggy. Love all the progress pics for motivation!24

I went and visited my storage locker on the other side of the city today and took out all my clothing stored. Most of it is stuff that didn't fit before that now fits. Some of it is large stuff that I will donate when I have sorted through it. About three or four things are very small things that I have kept from the past but are in great condition. They're my new goal clothes and I can't wait to fit them. I'm not really that far off fitting them - maybe a couple of months?15

Craved a hot meat pie, but chose a salad and beef croissant instead and it was just what I needed:)11
