How often do u all weigh in?

Does anyone else feel like weighing in daily helps them stay on track better than weekly?? I know it's "a big no no" but I feel like I am more accountable if I do it that way.

I am going to try to weigh in every 2 weeks. I think it might help me push harder so when those two weeks come, I see some progress! When I weigh in daily, I get frustrated.

I weigh daily at home, but my "official" weigh in only happens once a week at Weight Watchers.

Daily. :c But I'm trying to change that. It's just hard not to give into the temptation of what's on the scale. But I can't help being curious!

I weigh weekly as the daily fluctuations mess with my mind.
  • Just once a week is good for me :)

twice a week, usually. 3 times if I'm exceptionally bored and feeling like rolling the dice on a Yay! or Damn!

I have a Fitbit Aria scale and I just love using it, so that alone would make me a daily weigher. I also get a kick out of seeing the wide fluctuations from day to day because I'm weird. I think I must be wired backwards from all the people that get discouraged from seeing the numbers jump up and down day to day - I think it's fascinating. lol

I do once a month and do my measurements then too! It helps me stay focused and not notice all of the daily ups and downs. Plus usually within that month i can feel a change so I am already inspired to keep pushing!

Every Monday morning, when I get up, after discharging any liquids or solids that might be in me.

Daily. If you weigh only once a week, the fluctuations in weight can be misleading. Like if you had too much sodium the day before and are retaining water, you'll show a weight gain when it fact there probably isn't one. Can be maddening.

I just started using mfp and its been one week. I started on a monday and so I'm gonna weigh in every monday
  • Once a week, but I don't stare myself blind at the scale - measuring waist/hips/thighs gives a better progress report than the scale for me.

I actually weigh myself 2x a day - morning and night. But if I forget, it's no big deal.

I've found that weighing 2x a day keeps me mindful.

I weigh at least twice a week, on Monday and Thursday. I'm really bad at tracking on the weekends so weighing on Monday keeps me motivated to eat well during the week. My weight fluctuates too much, so if I weighed every day I think it would be demotivating, if I were eating well but gained a pound.

I weigh every day and report weight on MFP every Wed. Weighing every day really does help me keep on track.

    About every three days.

I think it's just a matter of personal preference.

I weigh daily and watch the trends in my weight. Makes me less prone to freaking out over the fluctuations.

I was weighing in every two days and it was driving me crazy the fluctuations so then I did weekly... Im going to try bi monthly soon but if my weight has gone significantly up then back to weekly I go.

I actually weigh myself several times a day. Mostly, to see how my weight changes throughout the day. I also weigh myself completely naked and with my sleepwear...etc..etc... just to see the difference.

For instance I'll weigh myself at night just before I go to sleep. Then again in the morning, after going to the bathroom. Just so I have a better idea the kinds of things effecting my weight.

My "Official" weigh in is on Sunday morning 9 am PST.
