    Mutts are the best!

We had our Muffy which Dad lovingly called Muttley for over 13 years. She lived to 16 and only because she was hit by a car. was still healthy and acted like a Pup up until then.

Clumber Spaniel... we bred and showed them, as well as Salukis. We've also owned English springer spaniels. NO other breeds ever.

Schipperkes are the coolest dogs I ever owned. Currently I have 2 teacup Chihuahuas and they are a trip!! They think their pit bulls, LOL

I've had several. Boxer/Mastiff pound pup that was adorable. Poodle/Shih Tze pound pup that was my little lover. Childhood we had a toy poodle that was the coolest guy. I thought it was just him. My kids heard all the stories of that cool black poodle named Paco and wanted one of their own. So, we got one. She's a black miniature poodle and what I found out is it wasn't just Paco that was cool. It's poodles that are cool. We've had such a great time with her.

I like them all. My last dog was a cocker spaniel / long haired dachshund / who knows what else rescue from the mean streets named Chuck, and he was awesome. Lived to be 18.

Now I have a dachshund / Vampire Slayer. Weirdest dog I've ever met - and thoroughly entertaining.

    The Chosen One:

    I've got a few favorites:

    1) German Shepard - had a beautiful white one when I was a child and have fond memories
    2) Sheltie - My family has had three shelties and they were always the most loving dog - & one of them saved me from rattlesnake bite as a child. (We set a new land/speed record getting him to the vet and he was ok.)
    3) Lab -- my husband's favorite, but I love our big guy too.
    4) Shih Tzu - family's also had a few of them and they're like having an animated teddy bear/forever puppy who loves you. So sweet and adorable.
