Just give yourself a mid July start amount. If you think you would run 50 miles in a month set your goal to 25. Don't let the whole month go by.0 -
45 miles for me in the month of July. I am a beginner so I am trying to start off modest. Now let me go get my ticker! :-)0

That's a great start! When I started to run, about a year ago, I thought this is nuts I HATE THIS! But my daugther challenged me to run a 5K with her and I had 3 months to train. Once I got going I realized I love to run and run all the time now. Hang in there!0 -

On July 1 I came down with something. Initially I thought it was a bad cold, but now think it might have been bronchitis or possibly walking pneumonia (had that once before). It put paid to any running. Even walking upstairs triggered coughing fits. So I have adjusted my running goal for July to 50 miles, since today was my first run in 11 days. I ran 2.2 miles today.
