But beer and bacon should never appear here.

And Brussels Sprouts? Put bacon and them together under 375 degrees with a drizzle of olive oil and sprinkle of sea salt. How can you say no to either at that point?

My mother used to cook tripe (intestines) and onions, and sweetbreads for my father. Saw tripe in the meat dept at our local grocery store last week. Urgh wouldn't touch them with a 10 foot pole.

Edit: put fathers instead of father - made the whole thing sound a little odd.
