Anyone here watch anime or read manga? I recently just started reading but have always been a fan of watching anime. Always looking for others that watch it too so I can find new shows.

    Lol is that the only one you've watch so far? I just finished catching up on Hunter X Hunter, Attack on Titan and am now working on Fairy Tale. But DBZ is pretty classic as is Sailor Moon lol I remember waking up at 5 am to watch the new episodes

    Are you a dude? I watched a lot of anime and read tons of manga but most of it was girly stuff. I love it still but I don't have time for it much these days.

    I liked;
    Inuyasha (my fav anime- this one is less girly than the rest and also a cliche never ending anime series), Hana -Kimi (my fav manga), Wolfs Rain, Fruits Basket, Ouran High School Host Club (warning, super cheesy), Chobits (waning, super porny) to name a few

    Movies;
    Anything by Hayao Miyazaki, I especially love Howl's moving Castle

    I love those!!!! I'm a few episodes behind on Hunter x Hunter and Fairy Tale. Stupid work and adult life. Attack on Titan was so good, but it ended a little anti-climatically for me, and so I had no interest in watching the second season. *shrug*

    In terms of movies - a bit conventional, but i love anything and everything by Miyazaki -- and Paprika, was of course great.

    DBZ is probably still my favorite go-to anime. I mean, look at my username, even though Piccolo was my fav.. :laugh: I painted my room green like him 20 years ago!

    I also like Berserk, Hellsing, Attack on Titan, Sailor Moon, Gravitation, Gensomaden Saiyuki, AKIRA, Escaflowne, Samurai Pizza Cats, anything by Miyazaki, Fist of the North Star, Ranma 1/2, Cowboy Bebop, Ronin Warriors, s-CRY-ed, Ghost in the Shell, Gundam Wing, Battle Vixens, Excel Saga, Vampire Hunter D, Serial Experiments Lain, Key the Metal Idol, Angel Sanctuary, Elfen Lied...

    Lots more but I won't list all of 'em. I spent a month in Japan just for the heck of it and brought back a buncha stuff I don't even understand because I don't fluently speak the language lol.

    I also love cosplay. Once I lose all this weight I'd like to get into it. :]

    I've been watching Attack on Titan. It's about giants that break into a city to eat all the pizza. It's actually pretty entertaining although disturbing at times.

    Check out RWBY (pronounced Ruby) it is an American made animated series online (Rooster Teeth, same group who make Red vs Blue) and my son loves it. They are actually exporting it to Japan. :) Seeing as my son got me to watch Attack on Titan, Fairy Tale, and Sword Art Online, I think he has decent taste. I haven't personally checked out RWBY yet, but that's cause I'm going through a video game phase, so not budgeting as much time for tv/videos).

    Omfg i had an obsession with ouran high school host club for a while, watched it like 4 times or more and my phone was full of pictures and drawing of the anime. I really have no idea why i loved it so much, but, i just did.

    A couple of people have already mentioned Evangelion and Attack on Titan, which are my two favorites. I started watching Knights of Sidonia on Netflix, which is pretty weird but I'm into it.

    I just had a Sailor Moon marathon over the weekend. I watched the new Crystal episode that came out on the 5th and then I got nostalgic and decided to watch the whole first season. I'm way too excited for the re-dub of the English Sailor Moon, my boyfriend thinks I'm a nut. To make him happy, we watched a few DBZ episodes last night, I bought him the Rock the Dragon collectors set for his birthday, sooo awesome!

    Also a big fan of Inuyasha and anything Studio Ghibli. Cowboy Bebop, Outlaw Star and Pokemon of course and others.

    I have always wanted to get into Manga and I'm thinking of buying some soon. :)

    I really enjoyed Fruits Basket (because I'm a teenage girl inside), Chobits (again, teenage girl), X, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Ceres, Gunslinger Girl. Soul Eater, and Ghantz. Those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head. I know that some really popular mangas when I worked at B&N were OnePiece, Deathnote, Fruits Basket, Bleach, and Naruto.

    And how can I forget the anime that got me into Anime: Outlaw Star.
