    Are you a dude? I watched a lot of anime and read tons of manga but most of it was girly stuff. I love it still but I don't have time for it much these days.

    I liked;
    Inuyasha (my fav anime- this one is less girly than the rest and also a cliche never ending anime series), Hana -Kimi (my fav manga), Wolfs Rain, Fruits Basket, Ouran High School Host Club (warning, super cheesy), Chobits (waning, super porny) to name a few

    Movies;
    Anything by Hayao Miyazaki, I especially love Howl's moving Castle

    Omfg i had an obsession with ouran high school host club for a while, watched it like 4 times or more and my phone was full of pictures and drawing of the anime. I really have no idea why i loved it so much, but, i just did.

    I know! Its just so much fun with all its silly frivolousness. I just found myself laughing the whole time.

    Clannad made me cry like a baby.
    Angel's Egg made me feel really weird.
    I like Howl's Moving Castle a lot too because I identified with the main girl very much.
    Samurai Champloo is awesome.
    Blue Submarine No. 6 was pretty good to me.
    I like historical ones too like Emma: A Victorian Romance.
    Fruits Basket is yum.
    Star Ocean EX because I loved the game that the anime was based on.
    Full Metal Alchemist is way cool; everyone loves it.

    Eh, I don't watch anime much anymore, so maybe that's why the list is so short...Can't remember them either. The last one I watched was The Devil is a Part Timer. It was pretty good at first but kinda got boring halfway through and I stopped watching it.

    I was the opposite with Devil is a Part Timer. I found the first couple episodes boring. But it slowly picked up and by the middle of it, I really came to like it.

    i think nearly everything i love has been named already, but wanted to toss in there to check out your library. our local library has a massive anime and manga section and if you're not too picky, just pick a few things up and give them a go. if they suck or are not your taste, just return them, no harm, no foul. i've gotten a hold of quite a few things that i ended up loving just because i gave them a chance.

    For anime, Hulu has got a really great selection. Netflix used to, but now it sucks. Crunchyroll isn't that much better than Hulu, imho.

    I thought crunchyroll had all the new stuff? I haven't made an account yet because they haven't added the app to Xbox One but when they do I'll get an account.

    I recently got into anime when my boyfriend took me to FanimeCon in San Jose in 2012. Cosplay was one of the main reasons I wanted to lose weight and I cosplayed for the first time in March at FanimeCon. My favorite anime is Fairy Tail followed by Attack on Titan, Sword Art Online, Gurren Lagann, Inuyasha and Kill la Kill.

    ETA: And fruit basket and Durarara! It's been way too long since I've watched these.

    Not really. Most of the stuff they had, Hulu had. Their catalog wasn't really good when I was on it last year. After a few months, I just ended my subscription because it wasn't worth it.

    I have loved Anime my whole life. My first crush was from StarBlazers, I MIGHT have been 5 when it aired on UHF in San Francisco. My favorite is probably Witch Hunter Robin, which I didn't see in the comments, but I might have missed it. I also loved Death Note to bits. My particular favorites are the ones that feel like they are devouring your soul... so yeah, Grave of the Fireflies is way up on that list. And of course, Cowboy Bebop! My profile pic is from the Denver ComicCon a couple of weeks ago. I do have a stuffed Ein that I found there too.

    I also love the American versions - I was lucky enough to find both the entire collection of Spawn & Aeon Flux.

    Some of the rumour mill I've been hearing is that a) there is going to be a new Sailor Moon. And I keep hearing that HBO has a new anime in development, it was initially set for this fall, but I haven't seen anything else on it in a while.

    A few of the oddballs in my collection:

    Darker than Black
    Renaissance (this is really unique, black & white noir, voiced by Daniel Craig - I still consider it anime)
    Ergo Proxy
    And the first 2 seasons of Shin-Chan (sue me!!!)
    OH! And how could I forget?! Zone of the Enders!

    holy cow, i just checked back in and got some great recommendations. I finished both Full Metal Alchemist, plus the meh movies, and loved both series. I finally managed to find some lost episodes of Rurouni Kenshin which I finished last night.

    I have been looking for something that can compare to Death Note in absolute amazingness. It wasn't packed with action but had a story line (for most of the series) that could be compared to something as amazing as Breaking Bad in the anime world. I have been trying to avoid the fan service shows, which Fairy Tail has a little bit of, but I can't wait to check these out and start watching.

    I had Hulu Plus for a while but cancelled it to get Crunchy Roll, just because I am able to simulcast new episodes of Hunter X Hunter when it airs. Finally finished Evangelion, which was absolutely amazing, I'm currently working on getting a hold of the OVA's and new movies to watch them. I'd buy them but for some reason they're ridiculously over priced for blu ray.

    Been debating on watching Naruto, Blue Exorcist, and One Piece but not sure which one I'd like. I am attempting to catch up on Bleach, but the filler episodes I just skip over, which I'm afraid of with Naruto because I heard a lot of episodes are filler, which are almost as bad as DBZ and Goku charging up for 3 episodes.

    I love the movie Ponyo. Liam Neeson gets to be a cartoon, lol.

    I remember watching Voltron when I was kid, so been loving anime a long time.

    And just because I'm watching Bleach right now...Espada 4 is evil but so damned pretty! 0c2fa9fd0109b0_full.jpg
