    What table? I've got a table for special purposes but you need to screw on the legs each time. Not enough room, anyway for a dinner table.

    I eat probably 90% of my meals at the table. I do enjoy dinner on my couch every now and again.

    But the main reason has nothing to do with psychology, health, posture, anything like that. It's quite simply: I am totally incapable of eating without scattering crumbs/sauce/anything everywhere, and I'd rather said crumbs scatter onto my tablecloth than my nice futon and onto the carpet.
