Dan Akroyd- at his house, in a bath towel when I was 12 (Our parents delivered fresh produce to his house)
Avril Lavigne - went to school with her and had all classes together. Didn't hang out with her because she was a preppy/jock-just not my crew.
SUM 41- Used to perform at our local shows- before they were famous-
Backstreet Boys - haha. My proudest. Yup.. shut up. Love them. :P

Super jealous of the person who saw the cast of Suits. I'd have pooped myself.

John Glenn (astronaut) - at the Missouri State Capital building, rode the elevator with him and my photo was in the newspaper shaking his hand. I was seven or eight.

actor Martin Mull - at Johnny Rockets in Chicago, he was super nice & normal and looked younger in person than on TV (great skin)...this was around 1995

Bob Dole (ugh) - at a political appearance

George W. Bush (another ugh) - different political appearance

Vanilla Ice - long story, but met him at a concert venue then my friends and I went to his hotel, male friends, nothing creepy (!!) and it was years after the height of his fame

Tori Amos - outside a concert meeting fans

Preston Lacy from "Jacka$$" show - grew up in, and lives in my area, so I've seen him around a million times

Aaron Buerge from "The Bachelor" (2nd season I believe) - lived near me and rode my school bus, he was a few years older so I actually attended school with his 2 brothers

Jamie McMurray (Nascar driver) - went to high school together, he graduated one year ahead of me and I had several classes with him.

Quite a few country music people I have no interest in...Ricky Skaggs, Roy Clark, Kenny Rogers, Barbara Mandrell, some guy from the Statler Bros, Ed Bruce, and Travis Tritt. My aunt was briefly married to a guy who worked for Tritt so I met him more than a few times and he was really nice to my cousins and I, but I hate that sort of music and always have...

I know there are more. Just random people! No one that exciting :-)

Don't know if he is really famous anymore... but Ashley Parker Angel... I was more pissed that he got to bypass the security check out line at Logan airport than excited that I saw an overrated musician from a fake boyband (O-town).

Forgot about Will Clark. Came into a card shop with his father that I was in at the time. It was the off-season and he had this monster beard. Got mad and stormed out because none of us recognized him right away.

Mine are all so long ago that you wouldn't know most of them.

Met Dino Martin and Desi Arnez Jr. at a Golf Tournament in early 70's. Met Edy Williams, Peter Graves, Mike Connors and Marty Allen the same weekend.

I was an escort for one of the Miss America Contestants in 1973. Can't remember which one. The only reason I got to do it was they needed Marines with Dress Blue uniforms.

When I was a Marine and was hitchhiking, Jackie Coogan (Uncle Fester) Picked me up.

Working as a Chauffeer / Bodyguard in the 80's, I met Lou Ferrigno when I was chauffeering his wife around, shopping.

Use to play racquetball with Jerry Quarry. Heavyweight Contender.

41 (total not "ugh"). I was fishing the pond behind his presidential library. He was taking a lap before a talk there (which I got to attend) on "fishing and the presidency".

He talked to me like he knew me and we just discussed the fishing in his pond for a bit (in the gazillion times I fish the pond while at Texas A&M I never was there while he was fishing, but I heard he would fish sometimes when he was in from Houston).

I didn't see/meet her, but once when my parents and I were staying in a condo in Branson the housekeeping staff told us the last guest prior was Phyllis Diller, and she left behind several tips for them hidden beneath gag items like fake vomit & a fake spilled can of Coke :-)

Donald Trump, in our hotel in downtown NOLA, just the year before Katrina. My husband & I were the only ones in the rooftop open air pool & hot tub that night and we had our camera set up for photos of the downtown nighttime lights of the city. He came up with his assistant and was all huffy about the camera (didn't say who he was), but we told him we were visiting from Canada and taking pictures of the lovely city from the rooftop (and pretended we didn't know who he was). Just chatted a bit about the city, he told us where we should point our camera for the best shot from that vantage point (his opinion anyhow.) I think he had the penthouse suite that night or maybe even owned the hotel, who knows. He's as much of an idiot as you think.

I saw Meryl Streep this spring in Lowell. She is gracious and modest, a real classy lady. The guy who interviewed her kind of came off as a jerk compared to her. I just saw Robert Redford, also in Lowell, at a fundraising event. I had complained about how old he looks, but he is 78, and now I think he looks pretty damn good. He is a small guy, kind of slight, extremely articulate and intelligent. I was extremely impressed. Seeing him was a wake-up call for me because when I went to the venue, I felt like I was surrounded by old people, especially older women. Then, I realized that I was one of them! All those films that we admired him for are over 40 years old! Anyway, I saw two of my idols in person less than 6 months apart, so I can die happy!

Elton John - I stepped on his toe once, and he was pretty nice about it. We even joked a little.
    Anthony Hopkins
Jane Fonda - we had a little argument because she's a horrible, entitled person in real life.
    Heather Locklear
    Prince
    Shaq
    Ludacris
    Ronnie Dunn
    Susan Sarandon
    Dita Von Teese
Hank Aaron - I was really awkward and fanboy with him, unfortunately

    Tom Berringer
    Ted Turner
    Greg Maddox
    Pierce Brosnan
    Christian Bale
    Jared Leto
    Tiger Woods
