Lars Ulrich and James Hetfield at a concert.

I used to date a popular DJ in the Bay Area, so when "Summer Jam" came around, I had back stage passes and got to greet, shake hands and take pictures with many artists. Some of my most notable ones were:

    Boyz II Men
TLC (when Lisa Lopes was still alive)
    Queen Latifah
    MC Hammer
    Digital Underground
    Tupac
    Sir Mix A lot

And a really great pic with Nia Peeples whom I had a major crush on.

Fred ****ing Durst (NOT intentionally, lol) in Las Vegas. I am jealous of literally everyone else in this thread when in comes to celebrity viewing. Does Michael Franti count? Oh, and I did shake Obama's hand at an event on his campaign trail. That's all I've got.

Unless you are into opera these names will mean nothing lol but they are super famous in the opera world: Jonas Kauffman, Placido Domingo, Rene Pape, Kiri Te Kanawa. Domingo is an idol and I seriously lost my ****.
    Impressive!!

    OMG! So jealous!

Okay, this totally ages me, but I passed a hand written note to Hubert Humphrey when he was running for president in 1967. It was a big deal for me because I had just turned 21 and this was the first time I could vote, and I had worked on his presidential campaign. After all these years I still think he would have made a better president than Richard Nixon! :)
