    Love this!! I refuse to wash my make up off after work and before my workout to make other people feel more comfortable.

    Thank you for this thread... it gives me an opportunity to say a few things.

    Oh yes! So many people assume that for a woman to wear makeup AT ALL... she has to be doing it to CATCH A MAN. LOL.... And to wear IT to the GYM is total out of bounds all too silly.

    They are so clueless.
    There are as many reasons for a woman to wear makeup to the Gym as there are women that do it.

    After all, its their prerogative! OUR... That is...
    I'm ONE of those that dress up to DO ME.... I want to LOOK GOOD... I've spent way too much time... too many years looking poorly, and not really caring a whole lot about myself. I love the NEW ME.... and she deserves to look good when she sleeps, as well as when she's awake.
    My temple matters. Period.
    Many, many other things besides working out happen at the Gym.... ya never know... I have Talents besides being EZ on the eyes! LOL.

    I could get DISCOVERED at the GYM!

    I sing... Dance... I write.... I'm a lady that doesn't necessarily NEED A MAN... I just so happen to be the lady a man needs... I got it like that. I am every women... its all in me.

    We Women are multi Talented.... Women Rock!

    I have a sister named Ellar, that is so beautiful that one would think she doesn't even need makeup.
    Well, she fixes her face everyday to help her feel awesome because, you see.. she has Cancer.. and she wants to look awesome for herself. She's worth it!

    I've had people stare at me like WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE? Tina Turner!?
    All because I have my WAR PAINT ON!!!! My clothes match... and my shoes are fresh and cute, too!

    Its a Battle so I am ready for anything!!!! I can sweat... and look fresh at the same time! LOL.
    I got it like that....
    Plus, I can also wear my Red lipstick and give you a Word. I am a decent, God fearing-Christian Lady..... and I am up in the Gym because being Fit is more important to me than Cable TV and having an expensive Cell Phone..... and at my Gym the Women have their own side.

    I'd actually rather not deal with seeing the Men..... but since they're there I am polite when I interact with them.

    Why? Because I am not stupid...MY BOAZ MIGHT BE IN THERE.

    On any given day HE AND I could make a connection.

    In fact: We might have already met. :drinker:

I don't know if it's intimidation or jealousy or what? But we Ladies need to lift each other up and support each other. After all...We are all Sisters! :heart:

    BTW... this girl will wear her red lips to work on the pipes in the cellar, and you can be darn sure she's wearing it to workout!
