Ok So this morning was better than yesterday... Its not the 4 lbs I was down on Saturday but I did lose 2lbs. Weighed in at 206 this morning... I blame TOM especially since I exercised 6 days and stayed at 1200! But hopefully my efforts will reflect better next week.

Just want to say good job everyone and Thanks for keeping me accountable! I think of you guys when I plan my day with food and exercise cause I NEVER want to let you down. So THANKS!!!!
  • I've lost 2.6 lbs this week. YAH!!! Not bad considering I have been sick all week and not really excercised and had a difficult time not going over my calories. I think I may have been a little bloated when I weighed in last week either way I am down. Today & Tomorrow is going to be difficult because I will be traveling and there are not a lot of healthy options to eat while driving. I also can't log my food from my phone so I will have to write it down and log it all tomorrow night. Wish me luck!

You guys are doing awesome. I love haivng to report back to someone. It makes me stick with it! Hopefully next week will be a little better for me. Seeing those big numbers some of you have thrown out there is motivating me to try harder this week to fit in more exercise.

Down 0.4 from last week! I really struggled this week so I'm glad to see a loss at all. Doing a weekly weigh-in has helped put it into perspective. I only have about 10-15 pounds to go and these days and sometimes it is hard to keep up the momentum to finish.
  • Bahhhh, not lost anything this week, I stayed in the same.

    SW: 145.6
    CW: 145.2
    Goal: 140

I'm not sure I'll make this goal. My goals on MFP are set for 1/2 pound per week so the 5 pounds in a month is off from that anyway. But, its something to set my sights on.

Here is our weightloss chart. I typed this up in microsoft excel and copied it over. I don't know why the grids aren't showing up. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know how I can fix that. We had more people originally start the group, but I only track people who weighed in this week. THANK YOU to everyone who weighed in, and also thank you to the ones who gained weight this week, you still weighed in and I respect you for still weighing in. Congratulations on everyones success. I will see you next wednesday for our 2nd weigh in. Whatever you did this week, let's double it. If you went to the gym 2 days, go 4 days this week. Remember from watching weight loss shows like "The Biggest Loser" that the 2nd week weigh ins are tough. Tell yourself that you deserve to be thin and healthy. This week if you have a weak moment and want to go to McDonalds, log onto MFP and read success stories of people just like you who lost 50, 75, 100 or more pounds to keep you motivated to lose the weight. Push yourself, I believe you can reach your goal by new years.

What you will do to get to that goal weight: Exercise 3-4 days/week including once at the gym. Limit restaurant/fast food to twice/week.

Hi everyone. May I join? I am coming from a group that has dissolved. I am recovering from a 3 week cold but I need to get back to working out. Miraculously, I only gained a pound each week. I would love to lose that and start over again.
  • Hi eboni, yes you may join. The only thing asked is that you weigh in every wednesday, no matter what. Every thursday I post a chart of eveyones success.

  • I lost about 3 pounds this week, even though I have felt rather sluggish and unmotivated. I do fine with my eating most of the time, it's the gumption to go work out. I am also having a hard time trying to find a balance between work/responsibilities/my daughter and working out. Does anyone have any advice for me?

  • I uploaded some new songs on my mp3 player because the other ones were getting boring and that motivated me in working out listening to new fun music.

Ok its Saturday almost Sunday.... these are the two days that the most people had trouble with their diets last week. Im here to encourage everyone to do well. I can't wait till we all weigh in again on Wednesday to see how well we have done. I am wondering if anyone has some good low calorie easy to make meals. I am getting tired of grilled chicken salads. I am trying my hardest to eat healthy, but it isn't very easy when I don't know how to make very many healthy dishes. Well good luck everyone!!! And keep up the good work!!!

That is sooo true!!! I tried listening to my music for a while at the gym instead of only plugging in my head phones to the tvs.... and it helped a ton!! It actually made me want to move and exercise even longer and harder than usual!! This is a great way to pass the time.

Little Bethy 87- My local Ymca has its own daycare to be used by member's that are working out. It is free and my son loves to go there. If you don't have a Ymca maybe your local gym has something similiar. Just keep picturing the scales with lower numbers on them. And I always feel so good walking out of the gym... because I can say I did it!!! And when everyone sees on here that I worked out they give me even more postitve feed back... which is extra helpful. I hope this helps. Good luck and keep up the good work!!!
