Oh and 'linnipopz' you must be bouncing off the ceeling if you're listening to hardstyle. Used to be well into hardstyle before and went to Qbase who *kitten* all over any event I've ever been to. It was absolutely banging lol. Actually met the prophet and deep pack
Woohoo!! Its so motivational! Well I find it is. Defo jumping off the ceiling lol Especially when a good old tune comes on!
Im off to Decibel next weekend!! Cant wait!!

Death Metal. Unless I'm doing a work out DVD, then the porn music they use on those.0

love listening to Hed Kandi - there are so many different albums out there but the deep house are my favs - those tracks get me so ready to burn of some serious calories!!
You had me at Deep House. Gotta check out this Hed Kandi....0 -
People always make fun of me, but I listen to audiobooks...
Currently sweating my way through 'The Hunger Games' and before that 'Oh Dear Sylvia' by Dawn French.0 -
I use pandora and usually choose the "Workout" station or "Zumba" station. There is something about Zumba music that gets me going... even when I'm dragging. Wish I could listen to that right now!0

Depends on my moods, I'm a "rock chick" & have been for years (Up the Irons! \m/) But 2 of my faves to run to are Overseer (the DJ, NOT the band!) and Crystal Method.
However, since I started training for the duathlon, they did not allow headphones, so I had to get used to nothing. it's actually gotten to the point where I prefer nothing, and I'm a certified "music-holic"! This week is a limbo week for me (Sunday I start the next round of training for the next du!) so I put on music the other day on my bike ride & it was almost weird for me.0 -
A lot of Pennywise, Dropkick Murphy's, Bloody Irish Boys, Thrice, and Bad Religion.
Dropkick and Bad Religion.....WOOOOORRRRDDD!0 -
For running: Podcasts and lots of them.
This American Life, Dinner Party Download, The Moth, Nerdist, Radiolab, StarTalk Radio with Neil deGrasse Tyson, WTF with Marc Maron, Stuff You Missed in History Class, RISK, Curious City, The History of Rome, BBC World War One, Welcome to Night Vale.... You name it, then i'll probably want to listen to it.
For HIIT, im usually doing that between running so i take off my headphones and listen to the birds or whatever along with the beep of my tabata timer.
For home/weights/mat workouts: playlist on my spotify of everything from Bowie to GZA to Speedy Ortiz to Handsome Family to Wire.0 -
I love squatting to "Low" by FloRida. LOL0

I like to watch TV while I work out.
At the current, most of my cardio is done on the treadmill. I'm lucky enough to have a home gym so I can watch what I want0 -
Metallica, Godsmack, Eminen, etc...anything with a beat that is uptempo. LL Cool J "Mama Said Knock You Out" & Pantera "Walk" are 2 of the songs that get me moving.0

My musics varies upon my moods. I like to listen to High Energy Happy techno (Happy hardcore) or like in pandora station Techno Gym, but I will change to bands like ICP/Eminem, or to Muse or Queen, or sometimes some good ole 70-80s mixes.... but nearly all the time I prefer happier music. While sometimes having angry rappers yelling at me is what I need, most the time it's something that I can smile to while pumping, or laugh while I am doing situps making my stomache double burn.
Oh... and do NOT disregard the classics... they are in the same tempo/beat as most Metal.. and while being great to listen to can also give some good pump!0 -
I got sick of all the music in my ipod so I just stick to using my hubby's mp3 player and listen to the local radio station. That way I never know what is coming next.0

I've been listening to a lot of Reggaeton lately. Before that it was mostly EDM, generally just whatever Ministry of Sound playlist came up first. Or a "workout mix" on 8tracks, because I have unlimited data on my phone. My last.fm is a good idea of what I listen to - last.fm/user/theresnofight. I'm currently trying to figure out my BPM so I can create a playlist that it perfectly in sync with my running pace.0

I vary my music quite a bit, but I often listen to classical cardio, or rock; anything with a good beat that will keep my feet moving.0

Hey there! :-)
I listen to whatever gets me moving and makes me push harder, I try to change the playlist everyday so I won't get bored with the same songs and then repeat them after some time.
Some of my favourite songs while working out:
Run this town - Jay Z feat. Kanye West and Rihanna
Hell&Back - Kid Ink
Can't hold us - Macklemore
U + Ur hand - Pink
Watch out for this - Major Lazer
Hall of fame - The Script and Will i am
Right Round - FloRida
I can't think of anything more at the moment, lol0 -
I like rage against the machine when I work out, especially when running. Makes me feel like a bad *kitten*.0

When I listen to music working out, it's usually pretty intense: metal, old rap, old hardcore (like Dead Kennedys), or fast punk. Music to kill by, basically.
But normally I listen to podcasts or Howard Stern. I find that the time passes faster when I listen to people talking.0
