Too many unsolicited comments / compliments about weight loss. I just want to be normal!!
Who am I kidding, worship me, World!!! :blushing:
You deserve it!0 -
Sitting in the bath is really unconfortable and I notice my mattress has possibly seen better days.
Yup, bloating after a meal sucks because you look pregnant!
Wedding ring is spinning.
I feel the cold more.
When I was in the process of loosing weight, travelling down through the sizes I ended up getting clothes from charity shops, as you know you are only going to be in that size for a few months and I got fed up of wasting money.
Once I got to my goal, I went on a nice big shopping spree
I have meal bloat, too. It doesn't help that what remains of my body fat is also congregated in my belly and has linked arms in a determined effort to resist the diet police. Right now I look six months gone.
I get a food baby every day, literally as soon as I eat breakfast. Some days I have twins.0 -
I'm not where I want to be yet, but the thing I'm noticing as I'm losing weight is taking more pictures!
Seriously...almost every day I take a "selfie". I've never been a picture taker before. Now I can't seem to help it! Confidence is shining bright0 -
Having to pee all the time because I drink more water. There are days I have to go pee every 20 minutes. And of course it's always on days I have something scheduled with other people. I swear I've visited all the restrooms at Six Flags.0

Realizing that the comment "you are looking really hot" wasn't a reference to the "change". (I'm 51)0

LOL thank you. I mean, I would love to be the person that whips out, oh just install the MFP app and read the "Sexypants" post, but I never have the presence of mind to do so. The comments literally just come randomly when I'm going about a normal work/gym/whatever day. Like today I was completely drenched in my own sweat and mildly dehydrated from 3+ hours crawling around in a machine at work. The lady is all "have you been doing something?" Took the better part of a full minute in my somewhat delirious state to realize she was talking about my weight and not being sweaty and pretty much looking like hell at work0 -
Having to fast for most of the day to go out to eat and not be over calories.0

Drive a delivery truck for work, and it takes me so long to "get ready" to leave on my two 3 hour daily runs because I have to make sure my water bottles are full, I have my lunch sack with the proper foods, etc.
Corner store employees look at me sideways because I now stop to use the potty on my 3 hour runs from drinking my water instead of buying junk food.
Got a new delivery truck 3 weeks ago, and I thought my posterior would not be so sore with that brand new not-worn-out seat. Nope, it's my new rear view.
Has anyone else done that silly little dance trying to squeeze through a tight spot without bumping into anything, but you realize that you look ridiculous because you actually have plenty of room now?0 -
Hip bones jut out so far that I have to constantly be aware of desk corners and counters! Also having a big butt with a smaller waist made me just give up jeans altogether.0

Two, 3-hour daily runs? Are you training for something?0 -
Haha, no, two 3 hour DELIVERY runs, in my truck, at work.:laugh:0

1) Having to buy sports tops because normal t-shirts aren't great for busting your *kitten* in the gym or on a court - they just turn into soggy towels that cling to you.
2) Running hotter so whilst you save on heating bills in winter, it's horrible in summer - people go about saying how lovely the weather is and I'm thinking, "**** this. It's too hot to do anything."
3) An increase in protein meant I smell more when I sweat. I've cut back to about 120g and my odour has disappeared. When I was eating over 150g I smelt awful even with decent deodorants.0 -
It just gets so complicated. The logistics are a PITA. I have a new schedule. Taking my road bike to work in the car at the start of the week, then cycling once a day and WODing once a day all week and taking the bike home in the car on a Friday. All so I can get more WODs in without losing the cardio (and balance out my calorie burns)
But...
1) Bike and car are rarely in the same place at the same time and I'm risking needing the car in an emergency some evenings
2) Got to remember to pack enough clothing, making sure I don't forget a clean bra/pair of knickers (it has happened before)
3) Three different pairs of specialist shoes: SPD-SL road shoes for the bike, running shoes and lifters for CF.
4) Strength wraps, knee sleeves, bicycle helmet, padded cycle shorts + jersey need to be in the right place and the right time. Got to remember waterproofs too - this is England.
5) SmartShakes mixer bottles are a godsend as I can cart a whole load of protein around with me in the little compartments.
Oh and the laundry!!! Has anyone mentioned the silly amounts of laundry you have to do yet??0 -
No matter how hard you worked for your results...

Going from not being able to find your size 5 ft 8 and UK Dress size 22(just didn't happen)
and now not being able to find cloth long enough because people dress size UK 10/12 people aren't allowed to be size 5ft 8.
(surprising considering supermodels)0 -

LOL Exactly what I was thinking. Wait...let me take a selfie first. Come on take a selfie with me! Should I put it on MFP, FB, IG, hmmm? I think I have taken more pictures in the last year or so than in my entire life previously. I know, I know, but it's fun! I also take more pictures of other things too, I mean the camera's in my hand already.0 -
Most of the clothes that were in my closet are now up on the shelf that goes around my closet because they don't fit me anymore, started in XL, now wear S, same with shoes, went from 8 or 8.5 to 7 and width went from C to B I was 7 B when I was younger, rings too big but not flying off yet as they were tight when I was bigger, but my finger is a half size smaller, from 7.5 to 7 which is was when I was younger. Basically, my sizes are going back to when I was in my 20's (I am in my 50's). I am at a 5/6 now in pants, a 3/4 will be the same as in my 20;s.
My skin went back pretty well, but the last adjustment is going a little slower, I think it is going though, just taking longer, but looks better and better all the time.
The worst "problem" is having to buy so many new clothes, I didn't keep that many really small things, now I wish I did, although a lot of them would be out of style anyway. It is cool to put on my peasant blouse from the 70s and have it fit me though. I have not given my clothes to purple heart yet, I am torn between that and buying a sewing machine to alter them, can't make up my mind...I really do love some of those clothes although I swim in them now.0 -
I have these unsightly white lines in the creases between my ab muscles from being out in the sun this summer...0

Bump the nay sayers saying bump cuz some people find it motivating or at the very least entertaining, so if you don't like the thread step off to the next thread somewhere else.0

like others have said, my rings spin now...they're too big lol. also, losing weight is an expensive thing to deal with since you have to buy new clothes.0

Don't you just love this. And whoever tells you that after a few weeks, your body will adjust to the increased water intake is a fibber.0 -
I'm right between sizes S and M so i can either have it a bit too tight or a bit too loose.0
-
and i get mysterious bruises more easy without my fat to protect me haha.
I'm so glad I'm not the only one with this! Over the last couple of weeks I've noticed small bruises on my legs that I've never had before.0 -
Haha, no, two 3 hour DELIVERY runs, in my truck, at work.
LOL I read that ALL wrong! I was totally picturing you stopping by all these convenience stores during your three hour jog to go pee!0 -
After running a marathon we don't get to consume as many calories (that will fit our calorie/macro goals) as the larger runners in the race, because they burn many more calories/mile than we do.
Sometimes people assume that we cannot win an eating competition because we are thin, despite the fact that a large proportion of the worlds top competitive eaters are thin/fit as well:

We also get left out of all office biggest loser weight loss competitions0 -

Maybe it's because you already won0 -
The amount of laundry I have to do has increased due to all the sweaty gym clothes.0

I love this thread!!!.... I agree with mooning people as with most others. I was at the grocery store yesterday and had to juggle the bags and try to hold up my pants while trying to find my truck.
The wedding ring thing also irritates me as well as the frequency I have to wash clothes. I wish I had kept my skinny clothes from before my weight gain (about 5years ago) so I wouldn't have to buy new clothes. I am keeping my fat clothes because I want to start trying for a baby in a couple months and don't want to buy fat clothes again.0 -
Finding pants that fit your squat booty and your trim waist.
Seeing people post ridiculous fit shaming memes on social media, especially the ones that insinuate a fit mother is a bad/neglectful mother. I've seen far too many of those.0
