    I've been through Pittsburgh during winter; it's cold enough. I'm psyching myself up that this is the winter to stay strong & run outside all winter...but the sub freezing temps & the snow & the ice & the wind & it's so dark & it's cold & huge snowbanks & I should quit whining and run. I made it through November 24th last year, time will tell if I'm tougher this year.
    I ran outside most of the winter... I think my first treadmill run was the middle of January.... it sucks, but it does toughen you up to be sure...

    I am logged into #runanywherenation for the month of September: a group who are running/hiking/biking/swimming and donating a dollar for each mile to the charity of their choice. My goal for all activities for the month is 125 miles.

    9/1: ran 3.92
    9/3: ran 4.47
    9/4: bike 7.79
    9/6 ran 3.25
    9/7: ran 3.12 in the Hilo Bay 5k---and won my age division with a personal best! Woot!
    9/8: bike 8.09
    9/9: ran 3.78
    9/10: ran 5.64
    9/11: bike 7.3

    10/9 4km Got sick after running the 10 on monday but it was my running day Today so that is what i did!
    12/9 11km Still a bit sick. But it went well!

    After my personal record of 79.7 km run/walked in August, I set the goal to 70 km for this month. Back to the office and family routine after vacations, I hope I can squeeze in some regular training since I'm planning to run a 10K on Oct 5th
