    I forgot to log my miles each day here. Sorry about that! But my goal is 50 miles, and as of 9/22, I hit 31. So I won't hit my goal, but I'll be much closer than I would be if I hadn't started the challenge!!! Thank you, OP for the post!

    After my personal record of 79.7 km run/walked in August, I set the goal to 70 km for this month. Back to the office and family routine after vacations, I hope I can squeeze in some regular training since I'm planning to run a 10K on Oct 5th

    I just saw running challenge and thought I would share my mileage just to see how many miles I run in a month since I never really pay attention to the numbers.

    I am logged into #runanywherenation for the month of September: a group who are running/hiking/biking/swimming and donating a dollar for each mile to the charity of their choice. My goal for all activities for the month is 125 miles.

    9/1: ran 3.92

    9/7: ran 3.12 in the Hilo Bay 5k---and won my age division with a personal best! Woot!

    I had a string of bad luck this month: flat tire on my jogging stroller that put me behind by 2 days and i had a nasty fall 5 miles into my first 18 mile long run. I couldn't finish the run that day and had to cancel some short runs as well while I healed and then I had to rework my training plan. And i went on vacation. So, with only 58 more miles scheduled for the month, I'm not going to make 200. Boo!

    I've walked the last 5 miles as I'm aching so much- this is more exercise than I've done all year. 11 miles to go for me:)
    @ Hayleymawr- You're doing great! Unfortunately some muscle soreness can happen anytime we challenge our bodies to go above & beyond. This will get easier. I said this before but 50 miles really is a awesome goal for a new runner. :happy: You're so close- keep going if your able!

    @RunnerElizabeth- 129 miles in 24 days is fantastic! That's almost 5 1/2miles a day. A flat tire & an injury(hope you're recovered:flowerforyou: ) are unforeseeable setbacks and who doesn't love a vacation. You're still planning 58 miles in the next 6 days; that's incredible! Be proud of your accomplishments. You are a runner.
