I am planning to buy a bicycle, my height is 161 cms, any what frame should I choose0

Sounds like you'd be in the 48-50cm frame range. Best to try a few though, check out some of your local bike stores.0

October 2 - rode 6.5 miles for a duration of 00:35.48 (mountain bike)
October 6 - rode 12.9 miles for a duration of 1:04:35 (mountain bike race simulation)
October 7 - rode 26.7 miles for a duration of 1:35:27 (road bike)
*I have no cycling goals for October in terms of miles, and hours. I will race in two mountain bike races on my schedule to finish out the 2014 racing season. At this point, I can't gain any more fitness for October, so I'm just trying to maintain what is left from the previous 10 months of training enough to do races on the 19th and the 25th. Then it's time for fall riding, and weight-lifting season.0 -

10/2 - 4.0 miles at 10.1mph listening to Guardians of the Galaxy soundtrack on my Walkman (which has external speakers).
10/5 - 1.8 miles. The wind was fun. Not.
10/7 - 3.8 miles at 9.4mph listening to Cheap Trick, Live at Budokan.
10/8 - 3.6 miles at 10.2mph listening to Joe Bonamassa's new album. Adjusted route mid-ride due to unexpected dog. Had to ride on busy highway for a short time. Ugh.
Goal for October = 40 miles.
MTD = 13.2 miles.
Still want to accomplish = 26.8 more miles.0 -
Found a buyer for my Jamis Satellite Comp. It was a great entry level bike for year one. Now moving to a 2015 Trek Domane 4.3. I am excited and don't know many fellow bike geeks to share with so...I am sharing here. #excited0

Worldtraveller321 - from a $/watt improvement standpoint, excluding better bike components, and losing more weight, what would you spend an extra $200 on? Aerodynamic helmet (e.g. giro air attack)? Wind tunnel fit? Upgrade to elite/pro izumi gear? Rollers (vs. current trakstand)? Kevlar based chain grease? Hydration kit? Taping down cables? Better gloves? Local race entry fees?0 -

They finally finished re-paving one of my regular routes, so the gloves are now (literally) off. Tried aero-bars as well this week, but I think I might need to move up my seat and lower the handlebar to make sure I'm getting the proper amount of drop with them to reap their benefits as my HR was roughly the same on same-speed/route rides when using them vs. just going into the drops.
