So I finished the 30 Day Shred! It was awesome! I lost 13 pounds. Now I'm going to do Jillian Michael's 30 Day Slimdown. I am starting this on Monday, February 28th and taking Sunday's off. I'm in but won't be starting until March as still on 30day shred until the 4th of March I think! I also have to buy no more trouble zones!
I went on that exercise tv link and downloaded the plan but it says on some days 'quick trouble zones' is that a segment on the no more trouble zones dvd or am I being stupid and its a different dvd? Any advice gratefully received!!!

I'm in! I just finished the 30DS too and loved it. I just have to get the Banish Fat dvd and I'm set. I will be incorporating the gym a few times a week too so hopefully I don't kill myself! haha.

I was wondering the same thing on quick trouble zones. I believe it's part of the DVD. I have it and will check later on and get back to you0 -
Awesome workout. I just printed it off so I will have it after I finish the Shred in 8 days. Those were the other two DVD's I was going to buy anyway.0

When I was at Costco I found a Jillian Michaels dietary supplement set for $12. It is a "21-Day Super Slimming Kit". Very similar to this one http://jillianmichaels.shop.sportstoday.com/Product.aspx?cp=14308_29791&pc=JIAM48 but for 21 day instead of 14. I'm going to start taking this when I start the Slimdown!0

When I was at Costco I found a Jillian Michaels dietary supplement set for $12. It is a "21-Day Super Slimming Kit". Very similar to this one http://jillianmichaels.shop.sportstoday.com/Product.aspx?cp=14308_29791&pc=JIAM48 but for 21 day instead of 14. I'm going to start taking this when I start the Slimdown!
I would be leary of the vitamins...what makes them "slimming"...I would do some research before you jump on board0 -

There is a detox & cleanse you take for 7 days, then a probiotic replenishment you take for 7 days then for the last 7 days you take a calorie control.0 -
Tuesday is March 1st! Are you guys ready? I do have a question though. Would you guys rather start on MONDAY so we can take Sunday's off or do you want to just start on Tuesday? Also, I would like to create a way for us to be accountable to each other! Maybe check in on this thread daily to let us know that you have done your workout? What do you guys think?0

Checking this thread is a goo idea, did we want to include sharing our starting weight and/or measurements? I've seen that done in these group things before. but know its not something everyone would be comfortable with, so either way.
I didn't take measurements before doing the shred so i'm going to for this one anyway.0 -

Ah, I really don't feel like exercising today!!
It's 11.30 at night and I still haven't done it.

I did it.... Day 3 DONE!!!
I really like no more trouble zones, mainly because I want to work the back of my arms and The Shred doesn't do that very much.
Some of the other moves in NMTZ kill me though
I still find push ups really hard and have to do girly ones, and Surrenders! I have to modify them and basically do squats holding weights above my head. But then the Ab and Bicep ones I find easy (in comparison, not easy compared to sitting on the couch not lifting weights)
How do you guys find it?
I also wanted to ask what size weights you use during? I mainly use the 2Kg (4.5lb) ones i was using in The Shred but then Jillian said she was only using 3lbs. So then I started using 1kg (2.5lb) for some of the harder ones I was struggling with (arm raises!).... Do you think thats an OK thing to do or should I try and use the big weight the whole time?

Just finished day 3! This was my first time doing NMTZ and am I feeling the burn!
I used 3lbs today and during the shred use 5lbs. I think you are fine using whatever feels most comfortable for you. Great work!0
