Go Bruins! And Caps! (my whole family is from Boston, so I was raised loving Boston teams, but I grew up in MD, so I love the Caps (only team around here I care about, lol))!!!!!

(Luckily (?) the Caps generally blow it in the first couple rounds so my loyalties rarely conflict)

I'm from MN, therefore it's an obligation to be a hockey fan.

The Wild should be good this year. Picked up Heatly and Setoguchi(sp?). Have good goalie and now we have some people who can put the puck in the net.

I'm also a AHL hockey fan! Wilkes Barre Scranton Penguins, absolutely love it up there. Great bunch of guys, and they are having one heck of a season. Planning my playoff trips as we speak! As far as college hockey; I love Robert Morris University and Northeastern! Have two good friends that play there.

Oh! oh! Oh!!!!! I live here! I mean, I live by Scranton haha. Had season tickets until last year (we couldn't afford them anymore) but we went to a bunch of games. Same thing this year. Are you going to the Black & Gold game next month?

Pats yes. Bruins and Sox...no. Senators forever, and Blue Jays. Watch the Jays in 2012. Tons of young talent just busting out. Going to own the AL East in 2012. Sens are back in the playoffs next April. Let the season begin already!

Well, maybe since I can't watch my college team play (Go Sioux!) I will get into a pro team...probably Wilds (closer to home) or Blackhawks (if my husband liked hockey this would be his team)...I'm undecided at this point

I bumped this thread this morning and it's already at page 4! :P

I can't wait for the Winter Classic (for Rangers fans, you think Callahan will become team captain? I hope so) but if I can't get tickets to the game, my goal is to go to the October 15th game against the Kings (aka Mike Richards' return to Philly). I really see LA being a major threat this upcoming season (pending if Doughty re-signs before training camp).

If I can borrow the car, I also wanna see the Kings-Blue Jackets game in Columbus. First time the NHL is seeing a Mike Richards vs. Jeff Carter game.

As for the other teams, I'm sorry about your loss, Canucks fans (referring to Rypien's suicide earlier this week). I also wonder why the Bruins haven't resigned Marchand yet?

It hasn't been confirmed it was a suicide. They really haven't said how he died yet.

As long as you're not one of the many fans who now hate Talbot for being a Flyer, I'm cool with ya.

I get along with many fan bases on Facebook and Tumblr but for some reason always have problems with a couple of Pens fans on Tumblr.

Uh, well with my screen name, you'd kinda have to guess I'd be a fan! I'm not one to watch games on TV though. Probably because I watch quite a bit "live" Go Shawano! My daughter is in her last year of Bantam, and is the only girl on her team. When she goes on to play for the High School she'll be the first girl in school history to letter in the sport. (Pause for PROUD MAMA MOMENT here)

After that I watch a lot of USHL in Green Bay, we have an awesome team and we love watching the Gamblers on a Saturday night, it's a good not too expensive time.

If I had to pick a pro team though, I'd go with the Sharks, I'm from the SF Bay Area. But like I said, I really don't watch hockey on TV.

I remember going to a Flyers game against the Buds 2 years ago .. looked up in the stands and some diehard Leafs fan brought a life size cutout of Don Cherry with him.. laughed my butt off ... made me feel right at home ..
